Am I right in thinking the majority of the radiation is alpha? if so then unless you are shot with the uranium round I doubt it'd do much if it landed in your tank, it's not at critical mass, it's not being induced via neutron bombardment. Alpha has a very short range as I'm sure you know. As for plutonium being the most radioactive, what do you mean by that? Most unstable? releases the most mass in a given time period? longest/shortest half life?

So what are your standard terms and conditions, Will the model be made public for us all to use?
-
Is that true? Two reasons, why would that work, I would assume that a radar wouldn't be effected by low speeds, only speeds faster then the speed of the radar waves emitted? Secondly I swear there have been plenty of times I've locked on to slow moving 'choppers. Either that or I assume I have done.

My mate Darren did that last week! lolz Since when has that ever happened? :P

They are talking about the avenger cannon carried by the A-10 plane not the avenger armoured vehicle. They are two different things.
-
The avenger cannon is different to a shell in more ways then size. The shape and materials of the rounds are different, avengers often mix AP and HE rounds for greater effect, I would also assume it also has a higher velocity then a shell (could be wrong though). A t80 could take a 122mm hit to it's active armor or another strong point, but a weak area say the join between the turret and body might not be able to take this. An avenger firing at a high-rate could hit lots of the strong areas but also many of the rounds may deviate into weak areas or tear off some track links. I don't think simple caliber comparison is the way to analyse it.

Band of brothers still has a story to it. I'd say LockOn was more a documentry with a hypothetical story. -
I'd be up for that definitley, I don't have a squad though. This suits me better seeing as I haven't got a clue how to use missiles (I can launch them and shoot them, etc. but I don't get all the stuff about burnthrough, notching and HOJ and have not got around to reading up on it)

I love those comments 'The people of Farbanti celebrate in honour of their saviour Mobius 1 (that's you)!' Such a joyous moment :P Seriously though, I had topgun fire at will and I loved it except for Two things. The fact I couldn't save the game for some reason (it was my first ever video game so I wasn't sure what saving was!) So I only got as far as the first few Korea missions. Secondly the scene where the MiG flies past you for the first time, I never got to see it! every time I remember the horrible disappointment of missing it. What was with the TV screen in the cockpit? the one that showed you a live video of the bogey? That was weird. Radio chatter was nice, the bits I can remember. Oh and annoyingly I can't play the game on XP anymore, CD drives are too fast nowadays and you need an old serial port joystick. Shame cuase I still have it and often wonder about setting it up (as useless a try that is). -

Did you not enjoy shooting submarines with sidewinders? Flying formation with a space rocket? or even flying inside the Monolith at the end? Classic moments for me :D -

What I don't get is why no one has mixed both. Real life has drama and emotion - not as if airforce pilots don't cry (even if they don't admit it :P) and obviously real life is realistic so why not in games? ED should hold a competition for one of us to write a novel for their next project (something along the lines of Robert Ludlum style would be great) then the community can make some FMV's seeing as we have plenty of people here who can make decent movies (unless pre rendering is prefered) then ED add it in to the game with a dynamic campaign (I hope!) and sit back and watch the money role in. Something along those lines anyway. :D -

I'm getting me a 360, I loved AC4 no matter how much people here hate arcade flight games :P -
I haven't had many German beers but I'll be sure to try them soon. I've been going through the list of European beers in whetherspoons pubs in the UK but they don't include German beers oddly.
-
Which German beer exactly? Wouldn't want to waste the effort on something low quality.
-
Meh, well seems you understood what I meant anyway. :D

Oh I'm sure they will use hyperthreading but not soon. In the next release that uses a new engine you are probably right. When you say they will release that soon though I assume you mean this year or next, which I highly doubt. I always think when people say soon they mean the same soon that I would think of. Being young soon for me is sooner then soon for you :P
-
Is that sarcasm? I generally assume everything written on the internet is a joke for the sake of argument, but I read that as though you were serious. Do you really think that they will have built a whole new engine to accomodate hyper threading, becuase you realise it'll take that much work to do right? Then even after that announcement a few months back about how they are spending time on other projects (commercial/military stuff) they will suddenly release lots of public games without warning? I'm not saying you are wrong but I highly doubt that's the case, any evidence to back up what made you think that?
-
Was it delicious?

They are going to release a new limited edition black shark themed smilie for use with this forum only! No one can wait I can't believe you missed all the memos about it.

That's not the same as the lockon F-15 if that's what you think?
