Good morning! Your mod is fantastic. I was specifically interested in the US Infantry, and they are marvelous. But I am having issues with the US Javelin trooper firing his weapon into cover or terrain and wiping his squad. I am not sure if it would necessitate API access that is not available to public modders, but would it be plausible to have its trajectory follow the top-attack profile to help clear terrain? This is both a gameplay/usability thing, as well as a potential realism option to help with those fratricide episodes. Last night in testing in a MP mission, the Javelins were wiping their friends due to missed shots killing squad mates more than they were killing enemy tanks But seeing a full group of your US infantry depart Chinooks en masse def had the players hyped! The Mephisto's HOT ATGM has a sort of semi-similar flight profile, where the missile is launched at a mild upwards trajectory. Something akin to that may be sufficient, though the AI wasting shots through trees is of course probably just how the DCS AI is and not something that can be changed.

I find theres a temptation when you are in a good hover pre-land to just go "Cool, Im close enough!" and drop a chunk of collective... which means you get some yaw on descent, and generally means you're tipping. I still botch my landings about 5% of the time, but its always due to my own impatience.

It seems like a huge challenge to recreate with non force-feedback sticks being by far the most commonly used.

Flying MP tonight, I'm getting big swings in INU accuracy from 0.009 up to 0.034. Is this enough to induce the kind of weirdness we are seeing in MP with the Lima and its target selection? It seems like its definitely enough to make storing target coordinates less useful.

Didnt see anything in patch about this. Has it been officially reported?

Im glad Im not the only one with this issue! It being an INU discrepency in MP definitely also explains the significant displacement I see in Stored target locations I slave to as Gunner. Is this officially reported as a bug? Ive outright stopped using Longbows in MP due to their unreliability. EDIT: Also the double explosion is probably the fragmentation script if its run on your server.

I've lately had several occurrences of total loss of control when my Hind suffered significant damage. I assumed that this was due to some vital control line being severed, however upon investigation I think it may be a pilot kill scenario that isnt giving the "Black screen" as expected, and as has been established in all other aircraft. I have in fact received no black screen death scenarios in the Hind, which seemed odd despite its very well protected cockpit. During the "H-4 Takedown" scenario, I was struck by a Gepard's 35mm HE rounds as shown. I had a loss of any control inputs, and my helo flew into the ground along the path it had been taking before struck. I was unable to change to my ATGM operator position as well in this event, which is odd as the log showed no history of him being killed.

This community could do without this kind of toxic sniping and drive-by shit posting............. .......scum!
