Do you press them together? First you have to press backslash to open the radio command menu, then press your desired category and subcategory.

If you are using the standard trackvector , then you need to reduce lighting in TrackIR's POV (point of view), since those reflectors are recognized by TIR as a light source. If there is another light source in the background TIR won't work properly. You can turn on the lights or even open the windows if its daytime but the light source should not be in TIRs POV. If you are using this then its a whole different story since this device has its own light source thus overwriting any other light source of the background. Correct me if I'm wrong plssss:huh:.

If you already have a HOTAS (even an old and irritating one) it would be better to buy TrackIR. Your sim experience goes to a complete new level you won't be bothered to such a degree by your HOTAS. Later if you decide to buy a HOTAS go for the A-10 HOTAS. It will be probably the best in the market once its released.

I'm sure there will be one for single player. Not sure about multiplayer. It would be cool though. AFAIK most servers will record your flight hours though.

Its probably the best terrain I've seen in a combat sim. Keep up the good work. Also a very nice camo and 3D model from ED.

Its actually 3 times the cost of B&W to make it colour. But many of us are willing to PAY for it. With the right marketing strategy it won't burden your company. I would explain why but you already know. Anyhow... If ED decides to make the DCS:A-10C manual in colour (and in perfect binding - crossing fingers:P) many of us are willing to pay.

If your PCs are good enough then HAWX (for modern "combat") or Wings of Prey (highly recommended) for a WW2 style combat. Both games are pretty straightforward. Its a nice idea. Time to get the kids interested in flight sims LOL. I have a high end PC and 2 very good laptops. My wife's gonna kill me after that I know :lol:

so basically... is FD something like.. autotrim? or does it help you to trim the heli accurately? I have BS for a year now and I never used FD. I learned to fly without it. I guess now its pointless to use it right?

Bullets, bombs and rockets kicking up dirt... lots and lots of dirt (Highly designed, fps friendly optimized dirt). Thats what I'm hoping to see in DCS A-10C. Especially in that Nevada terrain which is desert and have lots of dry sand laying around. Less dirt for Caucasus wouldn't be that much of an issue cause the ground is more wet and humid most of the time. Small details that make all the difference.

Overall graphics are quite improved.. Clouds, terrain, grass, trees, textures. IIRC the smoke effects too from previous videos. The clouds and the grass really impressed me. It gives to the sim a more natural feeling, instead of that cartoonish one from previous sims. And the AC too is at the highest level made possible (as expected from ED devs :thumbup: of course) :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: Looking forward to the next producers note :book: -

The positive about 1.02 patch - Its uses the same sound engine as FC2.0 and now the sound engine is utilizing all cores thus improving frame rates. The negatives - Wingmen got from dumb to dumber. (Just like the movie:lol:) After a long hour flying the "On the other side" mission in deployment campaign, I finally accomplished the mission and on the way back to base, a couple of kilometers from base actually, I gave the order for wingmen to RTB. On approach, no.2 with no.3 crushed with each other and no.4 was a couple of meters in no.3's ass. I accomplished the next mission too, but when I order the wingman to attack he said ok, as I was looking on my right to see his ingress.... he was not there! I pressed F5 to view his position and he was abandoning me in the middle of the fight and went RTB.

Thats not a bug.. Thats an oversight lol.. seriously I don't think its a bug. Normally you should repair the helicopter first and THEN re-arm/refuel.

You have 3 options. 1) Download the VNAO mod. (This includes all flyable aircraft and carrier package) 2) Post in VNAO forums and request a separate mod with only the carrier. I think there is one but not yet released. 3) Wait for a patch from ED to address this problem because its a bug. P.S. The VNAO carrier is more detailed and all JBDs are working perfectly AFAIK. -

Also make sure there is enough headwind (around 6-8 knots) and the carrier is at cruise speed (around 30 knots). But be aware that the wingman or other AI aircraft will not be able to land afterwards if the headwind is too strong. I'm not sure if this has been fixed for FC2.0 though.
