  1. Here you go. http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/agency/usaf/aef-intro.htm
  2. :huh: Now that's something I've never heard before :megalol: sorry cichlidfan I couldnt help myself on that one :)
  3. mmm... that statement sounds awful familiar:helpsmilie::doh: now I remember. It was somewhere in this thread (several times)
  4. Was the liquid only cooling the CPU or also for the GPU in tandem. If just the CPU my educated guess would be you cooked the Processor. And if you did that could also mean you may have damaged parts of the motherboard also. Most likely the socket. Hopefully you also had some good air flowing through the case. Lets just hope for the best.
  5. @ efs2.. Take a good look at the people that are helping you with what you want to do. Although I did not rebuild an existing comp I had. I put together a completely new one. All for DCS A10-C and the future of it. Take a look at my sig. Is it future proof for the sim? Maybe! Maybe not. And the reason I chose the components and OS I have is because of talking to and listening to the same people that are helping you out. Take a look around the forums at the systems that the "in my opinion" majority of people flying this sim are using. They chose the same or similar hardware and OS I have for a reason. After looking and listening to all the help that is being given to you, Obviously it entails flying DCS A10-C. I'm sure you"ll come to a conclusion that best suits your wants and needs. Heed their advice !!! They really do know what their talking about...
  6. What a shame it is for me to see this for sale at a time I haven't got the available funds.:cry: Hopefully I can sell a few things in a short time. Who knows. I may just be posting again in a few days if no one hops on this to quick. Considering the mods done to it and the condition it looks to be in and the care you've taken to it. The price you're asking is to good to pass up. I'm sure who ever picks this up from you will for sure put it to good use. And enjoy it for many years to come.
  7. @ 7Coolhand or you could just save a few more pennies and get this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130687
  8. Not only that. But now you can get the GTX 570 in a 1.28 or a 2.5 GB version.
  9. Happy birthday Paul !!! :yay::beer:

  11. you and me both :music_whistling:
  12. I dont mind some of the newer cars. But I'm old school. I couldnt make up my mind so I had to put up two. 1970 Hemi Cuda 1970 GTO Judge Ram Air IV
  13. I agree :thumbup: But I'm considering switching to the H100. If not only to save some space in my case. The Thermalright Silver Arrow I have does an amazing job at cooling but it is huge.
  14. pretty sure doesnt cut it. you need to make sure the onboard video is disabled in the bios believe me or anybody on these forums. you can never have a big enough PSU. and by the way what kind of frame rates are we talking here
  15. are you sure you disabled the onboard video ? make sure both 8 pin plugs are into the gpu you didn't say which os your running either also when that card is under load it can draw close to 500 watts that doesn't leave you much power for everything else
  16. Sometimes the upgrade is really worth it. (and sometimes badly needed) as in my case. I went from having a Gateway 840 GM:megalol:. It had a Pentium D dualcore @ 3GHz, 4 gigs of ddr400 ram, and an Asus 8800GT 512 GPU. Running XP pro To what you see in my sig.:D
  17. From my experience I'll have to disagree with you. Been running my Patriot mem. @ 1.65v since I built mine. Not a single problem or issue. :thumbup:
  18. Bolt-1
