Listed in notes for 1.1.0.8 Patch - HARS navigation is defaulting to active at ramp start. With the HARS mode active, you will not get any FPM/VVI in the HUD, and you will not be able to arm the EAC. If you switch from HARS mode to EGI mode after complete INS Alignment, then the FPM/VVI returns, and you can arm the EAC. I think this might be the prob ??

It's basic function is to slave the TGP to a steerpoint :book:

your gonna love that setup. look at my sig. I run DCS A-10C at max settings. AND I MEAN MAX !!! with FPS avg. in the 50's. altho i only use a 23 inch monitor and I'm OC'd a bit. The way the game runs and the graphic's are is stunning. I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE 2500k !!! I just built mine 3 months ago. And it was alot easier than you think. :thumbup: My cost to build was $1600.00 US. The GTX 570 is a killer card for the $$$. And I also pumped in 8 gig's of ram. DONT FORGET GOOD COOLING ! you wont regret it.

Thx Bumfire. I didnt think of that. Because i already have a second HS&F on hand. The $ was going to go towards liquid cooling. So I'll keep the stock one that came with it. And I'll think about selling the Silver arrow, and the second one I have.

I have the stock HS&F that came with the I5 2500K CPU I bought for my build 2 months ago. It has never been installed. Don't ask me if it will fit other CPU's. You do the research. But if you want it and live in the USA its yours. You just need to pay the shipping. USPS flat rate box. Which is pretty cheap.

A couple from 1.1.0.8 with my settings. The new dynamic lighting is amazing !!!

Take a look in my sig. Also Ethereal's. You should have no problem running the games with great stable frame rates. With all options maxed out as I do. With the exception of the SSD i use. Our comp specs. are pretty damn close. Your really gonna enjoy what you put together for the sims.

I honestly could not say. But you certainly are capable of playing the game. I can give you an educated guess as to what your FPS in game will be. And i'm going to say depending on whats going on around your AC. It should be between 15 to 40. I know its a broad range but I'm not familiar with that processor or how your comp is set up.

I assume your talking percentage wise. The gains of two 1GB 460's in SLI is minimal over a single 580. Even the gains over a single 570 is minimal. From looking at a bunch of BM's on the almighty internet. I only see a 3% to 12% gain. Yet the $$$ of "2" 1GB 460's over a single 570 is about the same depending where you buy...

I understand that. My point was to mention what his new MB and CPU were designed for. Against the memory he purchased. That was all.

What Killa means is that the SB cpu and your MB. will only support Dual channel DDR3 and best installed in pairs. not Tri channel DDR3. The memory you chose is designed for the X58 platform, which is Tri Channel DDR3.
