Funny you should mention that. It happened to me on your server this mornin. The best part was after i was on fire, one of his sidewinder's had no problem finding it's target. After he took off from the TW!:doh:

I just did a quick test of going from Desktop to in the pit with the latest build in MP to the 104th server. Recorded it with cam studio. I dont know what is so diff about my setup but it takes me less than a min. for the whole thing. I put up a vid on my utube channel if you care to look at it. Here it is.

With DCS World here and FC3 on the horizon. I need your opinions on the best use for a second monitor i got for free. Res. of it is 1280 X 1024.

I feel for you. I posted a similar question more than 2 yrs. ago about FC2. And never got any reply from them.

To bad i couldn't vote on 2 categories. I have an EVGA GTX 570. it's 1.28 GB vram. So I'm in between two of the choices. It run DCS pretty damn well. Even when things get real busy in the sim I'm still in getting rates in the very high 20's. Which i don't mind because its pretty damn smooth. Even at those rates.

I did just that. I put one together from Micro Center here in the USA:pilotfly: It took me about 3 min. It's a pretty decent system that will run DCS no problem. Heres the link for it. Just to give you an idea. Don't know how long the link is good for. But the cost was Approx. $ 1035 USD. You can obviously save some $$$ if you have some parts you can reuse in the new build.:thumbup:

Although FC3 only needs a previous version of FC2 to run. Don't forget FC3 is a modual extension of DCS World. And on its own FC2:needs the origanal LockOn registry items to run properly. Just be careful of how much you uninstall to save some of that SSD space we all so desperately love ;)

zarga, that would be known as the "OMFG !" pilot instability handle. It will fold out automatically when your chopper is in an uncontrollable spin, you've gone inverted and you cant recover, you hit your wing man while your in fingertip with him, or gravity has the power over your AC.

Cali, I know just how you feel. Talk about a jump in improvement. I went from this, a Gateway 840 GM (specs here). Although I did improve it with more ram and an ASUS 8800GT. I built the one in my sig 18 months ago and I ended up with the EVGA GTX570. This setup scream's @ 4.5 Ghz. At the time the card was best bang for the buck. But may upgrade soon for more vram. And that 670 seems the way to go.
