Hi ppl. First of all i must stress that I am not looking for a cracked or copied version etc or a version from a warez site. I am looking for a legal copy that doesnt cost the earth. Maybe a second hand one or an older version. Thanks for any help.

Well, point made SK. But could we maybe have just one or two of them, I think it would add a bit more emersion into the sim. I understand that it takes a lot of time and ultimatley money to do an airbase. Just would be nice thats all.

OK, I am little confused, can i completley reformat my hard drive and use the same activation key or will I have to use one of my 3 activations? If I do have to use one of my 3 activations then perhaps it could be an idea to go the path of another sim developer that chose this path (Live for speed) and replenish the no. of activations every three months or so i.e. you get one extra activation every three months up to a max of three. just a thought

Well, I can see both sides to the argument. I can understand that ED need a good anti-piracy software system. I can also understand peoples concerns with the vulnerabilities of it. Personally, I see no problem with it IF the vulnerabilities with the starforce system are fixed by the time of release or shortly thereafter. However I think that IF ED new about the vulnerabilities of the starforce system within the demo then they should have put something in the demo readme file and/or the EULA. Having said that I will probably buy the product anyway but that is my choice and I appreciate that everybody has different amounts of "Secure information" on there system

Well, I will reserve judgement till I get the full version, but it doesnt look good. I really hoped they had fixed it.

Download with visa payment would suit me fine. However, I understand that not everyone has broadband and/or a visa card so I think a cd option is a must also. I even dont mind if it delays the release by a couple of days. I have waited this long, I can wait a few more days.

Good idea Or even if it wasn't counted as a loss if you quit from the apron or taxiway. Lock on knows when you are on such a surface as it knows when you can refuel, repair etc.. This would be a step in the right direction.

OK, if he has a lock on you and you notch him, it wont make any difference if HE turns 20 degrees or so, you will still notch him. If YOU turn 20 degrees or so then yes you will re appear on his radar screen. Also, generally, if he has lost the lock on you, when he regains lock, it is unlikely that the missile will start to track again, he will probably have to fire another missile. I have seen this many times online in Hyperlobby
