I mean I am not really sure what else to say. Re-install DCS? Run repair, delete your fxo and metashaders2 folders inside Saved Games/Dcs.OpenBeta Again, I would recommend looking into some driver that is clashing or even the fact Razor Cortex is even installed. DCS is a very finicky mistress.

What are your computer specifications? There are minimum requirements that should be at least met otherwise you can run into issues.

Did you run the DCS Repair? Also you can delete the fxo and metashaders2 folders in your Saved Games/DCS.openbeta folder. that might help you out with that. It will just rebuild them when you run the game again.

I mean what kinda extra stuff you have installed that you do not need. Like, VB Audio, or Track IR, or even re-install your Oculus drivers. Could be that or something else. Though your specs seem fine, If you are on a hard drive rather than a SSD, they say that can be an issue as well. Maybe check to see how fast your disks R/W speeds are too. There are many factors, really the best way is to remove the addons, then install them one by one and see which is making the game spike lag. Cause frankly, it should not be doing that (IMO even on a HDD)

There is a switch for that! HOT MIC - Allows talking to the RIO without pressing the PTT. Also allows the groundcrew to talk to the crew via the external interphone. The left side Console, On the ICS Panel, select the right most switch to 'HOT MIC' This will enable you to talk to the ground crew with your canopy crew. Personally, I turn that on right away just so I do not forget and go.... WHY YOU TALKY TO ME? :P

Check conflicting drivers. I found that some audio drivers were the culprit to the freezing. It was VB Audio and Track IR for me though.

Same here, kinda annoying because I do not mind people hopping in and hanging out for a little bit. To have to restart every time someone leaves is just stupid.

Well luckily the DCS Gods have made it so that failed downloads do not have to be restarted. Just cancel the download when you want to play, otherwise I would leave it running overnight and when at work this way you 3-5 days feels like alot less. That should work. Just can't play at the same time as you download.

Well profress is slow. Sadly, though I am looking forward to this weekend when I can get more done with it. I am starting to feel the effects of starting the project, and working a full time job. Trying to get this done and sleeping and working. I am determend though. If anyone has information on the Balkans (please no wiki) That's great. I have requirments on them though. (copyrights) If this is going to be made for money, well, I need to make sure that I have copyrights to use the information. That includes Wikipedia. Anyways. So far things are working out. The images (GEOTIFF) we are getting are coRrupted at time so redownloading them happens. The gathering of information will take to longest. The balkans and surrounding area is a little harder to get images for. Of buildings, cities etc. What about the coast of USA. New York? I mean thge russians in the game and americans could make a very interesting situation. Taking info for the area is easier too. Acceleration of the process means you guys get it faster. I am wondering if we can pull our old modles of bulding for flight sim and use them for DCS providing they are converted. Yes they are all our own stuff. -PonY PS. I have a fulltime job. There is a high possability of that. It all depends on the terrain that I can get in the end. I was looking into that area and I have some of the geotiffs to it but I still need to work on grabbing the rest. Waiting for a email back on grabbing basicallu all of middleeast,europe and some of asia. Figure out the best region to create. -PonY
