The thing is... there are 3 different headtracker.dll by now... And all have their pros and cons... Try all three and see which suits you best... For example... if I remember good, one headtracker won't let you move view with pow keys if your headtracking softvare is off before starting the sim - the other will... Then, I remember a problem where one dll would re-center my view whenever I stopped tracking in-game - the other wouldn't... The last one was re-done by some dude cause crashed Freetrack in newest sim version after disconnect or something but had pitcha and/or yaw switched directions... All in all it's a lot of crap that should get sorted out... I have 3 of them in my bin folder (the other 2 renamed) and kill me If I know which one am I using now... So it would be nice if we had one that is stated as best and confirmed to work good...

Didn't notice that anyone mentioned it: Stuka Pilot by Hans Ulrich Rudel... due to his enormous tank busting experience he even took part in designing the A-10

And then Joey (if I remember) saw a single T-72 wandering uphill... "That must be enemy..." he thought... ...clutched the weapon release of his trusty ol' Grach, Vikhr FTW!!! And that ended Aries's combined arms struggle to climb up that hill and gain higher ground so he could engage and pinpoint the enemy... :megalol:

Operation ''Haunted Georgia'' Online Multiplayer Campaign
Aries replied to gregzagk's topic in Multiplayer
As a CA ground commander, I can say this was some chaotic fun... ...running into the enemy face to face, hoping only for your gun to be more powerfull... :D Watching dogfights, frantically checking on F10 map to see if it's them... and where are your own boys... Calling in targets and watching them disappear in black smoke, definitely is a satisfaction... I just hope the blue side functions like we do... then I would plunge through Gali with a fork and cardboard shield in my hand with nothing but a thought of victory... Here goes Tacview record -

Aries replied to Quirkitized's topic in User Created Missions General
Just flew the first mission last night with my squadmate... The SAM site setup and the voice-overs made me feel like I'm really there, pretty dramatic stuff... Incredible work!!! -

Any new piktcharzzzz?

Yup! FaceTrackNoIR 1.7 plus hotfix works incredibly well!!! The moment I set it up with my PS3Eye and TrackCLipPro I never once clicked on the Freetrack icon again... It has this 3 point tracker plugin and a new Acella filter that works miracles in the means of steady & precise head movement interpretation... I never thought I will steadily look at ground targets without jittering (even in zoomed in view) until I throw some cash at a TIR5 or something, but with this combo it simply became possible... We should all thank the FacetrackNoIR team: DONATE HERE :smartass:

"PATROL BY FORCE": SP/MP mission for A-10C
Aries replied to Bahger's topic in User Created Missions General
Just reviewed the Tacview record... you were right... We oriented ourselves by waypoints and not steerpoints, thus entering an orbit way before the OP area, inputing MTU co-ordinates for SA-9s... this made us come too late and entire chopper flight was slain... but never heard a cry for help by the Apaches or the Chinook... It would be cool if they checked in over radio like BIG DOG does... so to be aware of them and their mission, cause we didn't even know they were there... The GBU-38 on JTAC was precise (believe me), he was mistaken for manpad (mentioned in briefing) standing like that on the hill... :D The message just states the HVT collumn is rolling without an decisive order what to do: Maybe a simple, "There are no units to stop the HVT, we eeer lost our SpecOps in a misterious celestial event a little earlier... SO SPRINGFIELD, YOUR'E CLEARED HOT! SCRAP THOSE LADA CONVOY TO PIECES..." :D -
"PATROL BY FORCE": SP/MP mission for A-10C
Aries replied to Bahger's topic in User Created Missions General
We flew the missin tonight (me & my wingie)... ...for starters, with the SA-9 kills I accidentally nailed the JTAC with a GBU-38 in the head... That somehow speedied up things... and the HVT collumn started rolling right away... with no-one telling us what exactly to do with em, we just desintegrated the Ladas... Mission complete... wtf?!?? Then we rolled a few gun runs on some APCs, ordered our group to move in, did some sight-seeing of the village and that's it... no Chinook, Apaches or anything... Somehow, it was all over before it even started... it was like... WELL DONE, YOU SUCCESSFULLY VISITED OUR VILLAGE - MISSION COMPLETE! AND OH, YOU HIT BLUEFOR JTAC WITH GBU-38 IN THE FOREHEAD, THAT'S 20% LOSS FOR BLUE SIDE... :D Love the radio messages, but that is just how it went... sorry... -
yup... you should go to 1.2.3 just scavenge the key from steam install and use it to install the module you have into DCS World installation (which you will work out first, of course...)

I am a graphics technology teacher in a high school... running a small print workshop and computer drawing classes... former IT support in government ministry... ...also tried to apply for Croatian Airforce, but a dear doctor on military conscript testing had given me a general state score of 4 (all other scores were 5, grrr) that resultied in the system jetissoning me faster than a Hawg on fire gets rid of it's payload... Now I'm a happy camper over Georgia... :D

Operation ''Haunted Georgia'' Online Multiplayer Campaign
Aries replied to gregzagk's topic in Multiplayer
Here goes the Tacview record Talos and Greg, I knew you were there (attacking our SAM site), I saw your missiles... I saw the friendly fire towards you... but to see an enemy craft moving low with that weather... it would have been a miracle... lucky bastards... :D -

Make the next mission Combined Arms only... put 20 ground commander slots on each side... paste 400 tanks and maybe one DCS Huey on each side to take out the wounded... :D -

Red Hawg for me this time... we're gonna spread some luuuuv... :D -
Mine were very jumpy & jittery... Will have to retry... but am somehow sceptic... EDIT: Just tried to replay in 8x our Gudauta Rush sortie from sunday... The bitch track parked my Hawg by the side while taxiing and then later slowly pushed it over grass and rolled it dead by the runway... ...do you now understand why I need Tacview to work? Beacuse replaying the track doesn't work and takes time... and... DOESN'T WORK... :wallbash:

Have you ever tried to review a Tacview record from an accelerated track? If you ever had, you wouldn't have written the above... :music_whistling:
