I switched from a 6950 with unlocked shaders to a MSI GTX 660 Twin Frozr 2GB (not Ti) and everything runs a little smoother, the card is cold and quiet... and it was pretty cheap an upgrade... but most important of all - NO MORE AMD WHITE FLASHING BOXES!!!

What do you mean by "my own tracking software"? I tried to use Wii-mote for tracking a trackclip pro and the bluetooth software was too bugy, crashed my freetrack all the time... Now I'm on PS3Eye, it works great!!! :thumbup:

The only consequence of removing the IR filter is loosing focus which doesn't affect the camera seeing and tracking the 3 IR lights... Unfortunately, it becomes just a IR tracking cam, from a really superior webcam... :) But, when finetuned, it worls like a charm... :thumbup:

It was a great setup! And I just re-did my routine... :D Nevermind... I'll just let you know that a lot of people payed with their lives on BF3 last night because of my inability to connect... :smilewink: Anxious to see the Tacview recordings and all the micro-duels! :thumbup:

Yup... you have to remove the IR filter, (check what type of PS3Eye you have, theres two) and place a small piece of floppy disk inside... This is how my filters are set and how my PS3Eye sees 3 TrackClip leds:

yes... replays still suck... we had a dramatic threesome landing last night and in no way can I see it... simply, in the replay I don't live up to the time we land together... the dumb thing crashes me to some hillside, bah... :cry:

Great it works!!! Just be sure to set inputs for "Tracking - Center" and "Smoothing - Stable"... ...I set those two on the 3-position MODE switch on my Saitek X45 (center, normal, smooth) which are the autopilot settings at the same time in the simulator...
