  1. I would like to get on the list please for one of the less complex UH-1 type pictured far right. Shipped to Texas?
  2. Seriously though... I can no longer get DCS to run using OXRTK. Menu loads, then it's a constant freeze fest inside the HMD, Until it ultimately crashes.
  3. Same. My best example: I use the VR cursor and 2 modifier mapped buttons on my stick for mouse control. Once I center the cursor, I just enable it, look at what I want to click. Without the anti shake, it's more difficult to pinpoint buttons I want to press, and I've noticed it more difficult to target the IHADSS gun cursor in the Apache without it.
  4. Man! Don't ever disable turbo mode for testing something. It's almost impossible to re-enable. Now it causes DCS to crash mostly and if it launches at all, there's a never ending lengthy freeze frame effect. For now, I am only using the "anti shake" feature with OXRTK.
  5. Problem seems to have fixed itself. I unchecked the box under settings (gameplay or other) that synchs in game controls to HOTAS etc While I could see the in cockpit adjustment knobs rotate while operating the mapped HOTAS knobs, I guess the brightness was stuck outside a range my control knob wasn't reaching.
  6. It's been a while since I messed with the Apache. Just reinstalled the module, after a slow repair install. I can flip the monocle back n forth, but can't see any symbology. I have it's brightness etc set to same knob as all other aircraft HMCS, and those are fine.
  7. Oh wow... didn't even realize that was on. Thanks for the heads up.
  8. gracias
  9. Do you have a link to the latest? Mine doesn't seem to be working.
  10. Thanks man. DO you know if your haze fix is currently working after the 2.9 patch?
  11. WOW! WOW WOW! I honestly don't care if anything else was fixed... but I am thrilled to no longer have to sit with my headset on my face taking micro-naps waiting 2-3 minutes for a mission to load, and praying it doesn't CTD. Whoever fixed that, has my nomination for ED employee of the month. Posted elswhere: I'm happy to report the freezing after selecting a flight (which before for could take MINUTES) has been fixed... for me. I just did a few test: And the first airframe/terrain load took a little bit (expected). Was like I recall in days passed if you cleared shaders, you'd have to let them rebuild for each aircraft and terrain. Once that was done, I can now start a flight in seconds, quit, choose another click Ok, and it's actually single digit seconds when the cockpit/briefing screen appears. Switch to another aircraft... same initial wait like first shader like, then quit/switched a few different missions... seconds. Even after switching BACK to another aircraft/terrain... seconds to the briefing screen/cockpit. SSS weirdness is fixed... though I still see little use for it. The smearing (F3 flyby) is still there but, that may just be a product of DLSS. Is it just me or, did they add cockpit shudder when firing cannon? Noticed it in F-16 and A-10II C.
  12. Thanks I'll try anything once. Well, I'm happy to report that after using CPU Unpark, I can successful launch DCS MT again. Even switching between airframes. this while remoting to my home PC and running non VR version. Will check VR side this evening. I have used the previous version of Quick CPU in the past to create what was my power plan. This new version is the ticket. Mucho Thanks!
  13. Thanks I actually implemented the registry setting mentioned in the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFz8HRk4WfI No change.
  14. Good technical breakdown of the new features.
  15. This doesn't fix it either. For me, it's an immediate CTD.
  16. For the experimenters : https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-dlss-dll/
  17. Now that I have fought my way into MT mode... I think so. I haven't done any actual comparison but, I wanted to started some "testing" with base minimum goings on. Right now I have OXR Toolkit disabled, OXRWMR resolution set at 150%, WMR 60Hz (I still prefer 60Hz to having to run any form of repro) null F-16 Take off, Caucuses. Low banking turns. Visually absolutely stunning. It's almost TOO hi res in the cockpit. Frame rate never leaves 60. I will note that now, even the standard clouds are more than good enough. No more emersion breaking, jaggedy lines where the clouds meet horizon of hilltops. My in game settings: I honestly couldn't tell a difference between DLSS Perf/Quality slider at Balanced or Quality null
  18. Fresh install of OB: First launch, 2D version. 20 minutes in... null
  19. I gave that a look... while mine was mostly utilizing 4/8, disabling either of them is an immediate CTD.
  20. Any other day I would concur but, this all started the day I installed the early access of the F-15 patch. 2.8 I think.
  21. I had considered that. But after the fresh reinstall of stable, I also wiped away my Saved Games folder. Same behavior.
  22. Yes, ST mode was in fact loading in steam VR in spite of the force VR/openxr arguments and not having steam running at all. Sometimes I would see the oxr/wmr exploding triangles animation in the hmd, then the just dark screen...but nothing further in hmd. I could hear DCS music, Then I'd look at my monitor to see the typical VR view of the load hangar. I do have the same load issue with 2D MT, but if I wait about 20 seconds after the mission load screen to appear, after the fans go to idle, I can click one time with the mouse and the fans spin up, load bar starts moving, then finishes or CTD. Still occasionally hang on the loading world detail section. Which usually flies by too fast to read it. For me, this all began with the early access release of the F 15E.
  23. Follow up: After a rip and replace of the OpenXR toolkit, I can now launch ST mode as expected. Why this is, makes little sense to me if DCS "now supports OpenXR Natively." And any previous attempt at running ST mode was done so without Steam running at all, let alone SVR. MT still exhibits previously reported behavior, but like months ago, if I wait a certain amount of time then peak from under my HMD... I hear the fans spin up, then the sim takes off loading again. clueless.
  24. Yep, haven't had that checked since the days of OpenComposite. Multithread does launch OpenXR but 9/10 times that's as far as it goes. I get to the selection menu, choose a mission or replay and just the aircraft loading screen with "progress" bar and music... yet the progress bar never moves. After about a minute of this, I can actually hear my PC/GPU fans spin down to idle. Meaning there's nothing happening requiring any attention from either fan control. After several more minutes of waiting, I simply click anywhere with the mouse and Windows displays "This application is not responding... click here to end process." Same as it's done since back in May/June(I think) after the patch that included the F-15E. It's been downhill ever since. Note also, this is after a complete uninstall/Reinstall of DCS. Tried new installs of OB and currently Stable.
  25. After a 5 month hiatus, I see it's still broken... Cannot run ST OpenXR mode anymore, every @#&^ing time it launches SteamVr. MT VR is still ass. Spent the better part of an entire day simply waiting... and waiting and waiting for anything, other than the Caucuses loading screen theme song. Can't imagine why I even bothered giving it another shot.
