ST back to normal. MT, not so much. Several minutes in, zero activity on the progress bar. Few minutes later: CTD. No mods loaded, repair install, patched. dcs.log

As far a resources go... I noticed this the first time I reported this behavior when it first appeared (for me) in MT. I would sit there waiting, and could eventually hear my CPU and GPU spin down to silent. It was several times like this that I noticed when I took off my G2 to see what was up, the fans would spin back to life, and the sim would continue loading. At that point I would simply sit with my G2 in my lap watching my monitor... wait for the progress to halt, fans go silent and them I would simply touch the sensor between the lenses of the G2. Which would immediately cause my CPU/GPU to fans to spin up again, and the sim would continue loading. I think the most bothersome aspect of this "bug" is I saw little to no fix for it on the MT side and had switched back to ST. Only change since, apparently they've migrated it to the ST side. and still can't upload my log file.

Same. (Since last patch/install of F-15E) I guess the MT version load times weren't bad enough so we had to extend them to ST version. 2.5+ minutes to get here... then get to stare at the empty progress bar for another couple minutes. null

I switched to 60Hz VR about a year ago... never looked back. Only time I notice any slight flicker in DCS is, when looking toward the sun lit sky. My monitors at work are 60, as are the lights in my office. Home displays are 240Hz and 144. Have you tried it with the light sunglasses effect in the OpenXR Tool kit?

Double sided, golf regrip (masking) tape works great. And it's not a pain in the ass to remove later.

For anyone else having this or similar issue with MT, I think I found my fix. I recall loading these reg entries a year or so back, after all else failed I decide to default them to "normal" priority from High. MT missions load fine now. No more hanging or crashing to becoming unresponsive. Is it officially broken now? I just started using it again recently, downloaded from the discord. Only now when I tune to Batumi, ILS, TACAN radio... and call "inbound". I get this on screen.

Thanks I'll look for it. I just checked in 2D and while not the large hexagonal flare, I notice the taxi lights themselves are tremendously bright.

I haven't checked to see it this occurs in 2D mode but in VR, the FA-18 lights at night are enormously flared compared to others in at least the Red Flag campaign where I first noticed them.

If using MR make sure you're NOT also using over prediction reduction aka shaking reduction, found in the oxr toolkit.

If you're not using a mod manager, simply copy the content of IT'S Bazar folder to your DCS Bazar folder... and acknowledge folder replacement. You will need to copy it back after any DCS update or repair install.

Have you tried the single thread version? Might be similar to an issue I had... I have since gone back to ST mode.
