There's been a big lack of news lately with the Mirage 2000 for DCS World project. I cough a glimpse on Razbam's facebook page, where they say will try to finish the A-A radar soon, but still nothing is coming out to the public. I'm growing concerns that this project is on hold right now, can we have some official statement from the devs please?

Can't decide which of these screenshots I like most... ...so here are both.

Lol, now I've realized with all the people whining about 2.0 delay and the beautiful screenshots of Mig-29's pit, people have missed one really important and much awaited thing - DCS: F-18C! Looking at the screenshot I see that the pit pretty much looks complete, and that the screenshot was taken in game. You can see the mountains and a lake through the canopy. We've never seen stuff like that before, only wip .max renders. Good to see that ED is moving forward, with the cockpit ingame, this means they are testing and implementing various systems. DCS really needs multirole modern fighter jet. Lol, again that Mig-29 stole the show from the Hornet :)

Again, waaaaay too much blue spil in the shadows area. All other news - all sounds great. Really don't care about DCS 2.0 that much - take your time guys. Hope you finish sooner L-39 (looks greaaat!!!) and Mig-29...

It's flyable but AFM and PFM have spoiled me, so I can't go back flying "the old railway system" :) And about the F-16 - at least we still have the 3 letter sim that shouldn't be mentioned here :)

Mig-29 is second to F-16 widely produced and exported fourth generaition fighter aircraft. I can't believe ED is not continuing the developent of this wonderful bird...

I have the same problem... AGAIN. And I'm pretty tired of using laser guidance with Su-25. With one version it's ok and I enjoy lasing targets and taking them from far away with precision. But with the next update it becomes buggy again and the stabilized piper doesn't move adequately. There was this bug with the missile range that didn't allow me to shoot the missiles from far away and I was stuck with the campaign and couldn't go further. So for me the Su-25 is just bomb truck and unguided rockets carrier for now on. I'm pretty pissed with these constant bugs!

Although also available on the F-16 avionics, modeled in Falcon 4 this snake/snap line is not much used. Judging from my experience and watching hundreds of dogfight videos people prefer the funnel mode for aiming.

Blaze, which terrain mod is that? Looks pretty good!

I really appreciate your honesty and openness with this project, but I fear giving information like this to the public may end up with a bad result. The usual flight sim crowd can be really cruel and act very childish on topics about fidelity (even when most of these people are over their 30's or more). I hope when you release the Mirage 2000C, you can fill the missing gaps from feedback by real world pilots. C'mon show us :)

Guys, lets not make this thread more awkward, Zeus67 is a developer and he is making great progress and showing it off to the community. What joystick he is using and how he flies is not really that important. Zeus, I have a question - are there any similarities with the code between FSX and DCS? Are you doing this from scratch or you can use some of the code done already for the FSX platform? (Just curious, it's ok if it's not allowed to answer that :) )

Voted none, only with a gun :) Maybe if there was an option to do a military transport plane, I would vote on that.

Is it just me or there's just too much blue color (especially in the shadow and dark areas) in DCS World 2?

As someone said before that: Everything is subject to change 8-) Even Flaming Cliffs 3 was out of the question in the begining of DCS series but look at it now. About the mesh resolution - since two separate people confirm that, I agree then :)
