Some people care more about these things however, we can't all have it our own way. I think vapour is an important visual aid that will help people get deeper into the sim, it adds extra realism. It isn't perfect right now but it is a welcome start and it is nice to know ED are working on it, I'm sure eventually it will be more natural... and the whole wing will be caked in it. :pilotfly:

Beat me too it. :thumbup: The older aircraft are generally more challenging to operate also which for a simulation such as DCS can only be a good thing. That said I would love an Su-35 with an accurate fm, Beautiful aircraft!! won't happen anytime soon however...

Well it's open for a month, spreading the info out is a good way to keep interest up, it also allows them time to actually prepare more stuff to show you. Kickstarter probably isn't an ideal platform for people that want things right now. Nobody is forcing you to pledge... or even get excited about this project. Maybe as the month goes on and more is released you will find it more to your liking. Patience is a virtue after all..

Again.... we don't know that, if they developed the dora cockpit for ED, they could be doing other things. We don't get all the details.

Has it been stated to be Normandy anywhere yet? It could just be a montage/test of the capabilities of EDGE. I'm sure things will improve.

Hi Peter, I meant in general I cannot get it to work, I followed the instructions and nothing changes. I posted a while back about it so I won't bore you again, I might give it one last attempt this weekend and then pester you if I have no luck again.

Had a quick go with the update, I have one age old problem in that the tutorials freeze, I put the P51 Engine start mission on and he stopped talking after setting the throttle an inch in, I tried several times with the same result. Didn't try any of the others however. Also, I do have contrails but you have to pull really hard while fast to get them to appear?

Okay I spoke too soon, it has slowed to a snails pace...

Yep, I have a feeling I will be making my first kickstarter contribution... missed out on Star citizen and decided against the F-35. The info we are given tomorrow will decide that, hopefully there will be plenty to show.

Yep :) Any new effects are nice and contrails/vapour is an important one imo. I think like all good things it will take a while to get right however.
