    Always loved that UFO mission in FSX Acceleration, I'd love to see something similar but on a grander scale. Maybe even full on invasion :music_whistling:

    Really? Is this common, I've never heard of trackir sickness before, can't say I have noticed it myself but then I tend not to play for too long at once. My main complaints with trackir are the unnatural movements, eye strain as you mentioned and the fact that it has a mind of its own sometimes and either goes mental or refuses to work at all. I'm hoping the rift will have all of these issues covered.

    Ahh man this is starting to sound good! I was wanting a Rift before my favorite game adopted it... Now I can't wait. Wags, can I ask is it as engaging as we hope it will be? I.E does it really take you into the game. And are dials etc easy to read on the HD version?

    Makes no difference to me but good news for many who have been put off buying otherwise. The good news I got from this is the new Mig 29 Cockpit and that the AFM for the F-15 is coming "soon" :thumbup:

    I actually haven't tried this yet, not sure what I have been playing at but I'll get on it this week. I can't wait for the F-15's AFM! :thumbup:

    Yeah I'm really not seeing it. I'd like to see ORBX type scenery as much as anybody in DCS but EDGE is looking pretty nice to me... and it isn't finished yet so it will ony get better. Lets give it a fighting chance.

    Yep, we'll also need graphics cards and processors to catch up, I doubt many of us would be running DCS at 4k yet, never mind 8k. One day though....

    This thread is making me very happy now. Imagine being able to come home from a long hard day at work, sticking on your rift, loading up a free flight and just chilling out a bit feeling like you're actually there... Were going to need more immersive clouds... :music_whistling:

    And Visa Versa IMO, I can't think of many more titles that could put the player right in the moment than FC3. Imagine how the speed will feel with the Oculus and when missiles start flying about I can see it being pretty intense.

    That is one of the best shots I have seen so far, if edge turns out like that and is playable on our hardware I will be very happy indeed!! Looks very atmospheric, a trait that has been sorely missing so far in DCS world. :thumbup:
