I have the same problem and have noticed that it is also a huge issue when vehicles have to drive under a bridge. Apparently, this is (sometimes) not possible, which results in the vehicle taking a ludicrous detour. For example, this is the case on the B243 between Herzberg and Osterode. All of the units I tested could drive under those bridges when set to "Off ronullad." Simple fix if you don't plan on crossing to many of these buggy roads is to put a waypoint "on road" (WP2) before the problem area, then one "off road" (WP3) behind and then another "on road" (WP4) after that. (Example is from N 51°39'52.18'' E 10°19'34.35'')

Love the positivity around this map and the support of the community!! I've also created an in depth version of East Germany with SAM/EWR sites, Training Grounds and HQs. Infos on regiments and equipment used all in the IPs visible in the ME. Added some scripts like MIST, MOOSE, Skynet, CTLD and Splash Damage. Hope this helps future mission builders https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3344411/

Currently, the Unit selection (which is the airfield selection) is in some unknown order. It would be much easier to select one if this could be in alphabetical order. Furthermore, there is the selection of dozens of "H" helipads which is pretty useless, since there is no indication which "H" is which. The picture is an example of the Syria map.

Hi, is there any update on this topic?
-
Ah ok. Did not know that. Thank you very much, Rudel, for the insight!! Still wish it was implemented better in DCS... Btw I love your training missions for the various modules (incl. C101).

The weapon is very real and was according to Wikipedia at least used in trials for the C101: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea_Eagle_(missile) Would myself prefer they implemented it in a way, that it can easily be used in MP servers and ad-hoc scenarios soon (without the user-made script). Especially since other modules can achieve this. And I also look very much forward to the F1M and F104 but until then I want to sink some ships.

Is there any hope of getting an update to make the Sea Eagle usable in MP/TOO scenarios similar to the Viggens anti-ship missiles? It severely limits the otherwise awesome capabilities of the jet. @Vibora

Request: Update Ship Models / add additional ones
S3ntry replied to S3ntry's topic in DCS Core Wish List
That's so weird that it got released in 2020 but ingame it says 2017. Maybe that is supposed to be the year it is depicting though? Either way, I agree with @MAXsenna to have that released to everybody. The "older" Kuznetsov looks like it is from 2005 (same as the other models mentioned at the top). -
Request: Update Ship Models / add additional ones

@draconus Ok, I wasn't aware the Kuznetsov (2017) was only for the SC owners. I thought that had changed already a while ago. Thanks for the info -
We have 45 naval assets in the game as of September 25, 2024. Most of the newer ones look very good (i.e. Chinese and South Atlantic assets, all carriers). Unfortunately, most of the civilian and Russian models look extremely outdated. Any chance of a model/texture update for the following ships? Battlecruiser 1144.2 Boat Zvedny Bulker Yakushev Cargo Ivanov Corvette 1124.4 Corvette 1241.1 Cruiser 1164 Frigate 1135M Frigate 11540 They do not have to be 8k and every bolt is modeled, just bring them into this decade. Also, is it possible to remove the old Kuznetsov? Finally, I would like to plead for a few more ships. For naval warfare, this area is extremely lacking. There have been some great additions in recent years, and I look forward to more. Maybe some more American ships from the Cold War era (battleships anyone???)?

Currently, if we want to place a unit somewhere, the only way to limit the amount of hundreds of aircraft we have is to either change the country or the task (+historical limits if enabled). This makes it sometimes quite difficult to find a specific unit. Especially if you are only looking for units that can be occupied by players/clients. The best example is the dozen or so F1 units: If you don't own them and want to place them for other clients, you have to look up which ones are playable unless you know them by heart. Is there a way to add another filter option (just like the vehicle groups have with sub-type and category) to show only the ones that are actually playable, even if they are not owned? And also a dropdown to select the "main" module i.e. F/A-18 and then a secondary drow down for the sub-type i.e. 18A, 18C, etc.?) I think this would greatly improve the way we work with the ME and make it easier for new users to start creating missions. This will be more important going forward with tons of new units coming.

Looks great and it's fantastic for those of us that want to read the documents on the go. Be aware on a 2560x1440 screen on Firefox 128.0.2 the "EXPLORE" is somewhat bugged.

NTTR - Nevada SP/MP Red Flag Template - NO MODS https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3335725/ Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas and the NTTR: Choose from over 800 targets in original locations from previous Red Flag and other training exercises (not depicting a specific one). Most have an active JTAC providing laser and smoke designation. Find your nearest JTAC via the COMM menu and further relevant information for exit/entry corridors, AAR and no fly zones on the F10-map and in the kneeboards. You have the choice of the most played modules as of May 2024. Possibility to switch to four different day/weather cycles via the #COMM menu: 1. Clean (no wind, no clouds) / 2. Day (little wind, medium & high clouds) / 3. Night (little wind, few & high clouds) / 4. IFR (a lot of wind, many low clouds). Enjoy and hit me up with any issues

@IronMike @Silhou I know you guys are probably busy with the F-4E launch (congrats for bringing this fantastic module to DCS!!!), but do you by any chance have a short update on this? Thanks
