  1. I don't think you understand what lowering the X saturation does. It makes it so that smaller stick moves cause more input so CAT III almost feels like CAT I and CAT I is very snappy. Also I could be wrong but when you go into AAR it ignores CAT I or CAT III and has another mode that is the same for landing and takeoffs.
  2. Very new to the A10c II and wasn't able to find an existing topic about this so apologies if this has been asked before. So what is the purpose of hooking via the TAD or HMCS? What are some examples of using it, what situations are best suited for it, what "workflows" does it support best?
  3. 1. I've been experimenting with tweaking the X saturation for roll and pitch. Currently have it set to 75 but I think I preferred 55. It makes the jet feel way more responsive, and counter intuitively, makes AAR easier as you can make smaller and more precise movements. Did you add any curves? I find it flies better with 0 curves.
  4. Not sure what to call this or how to search for it, so apologies if this has been asked before. I'm interesting in trying to create a dynamic mark point / steer point program for the F-16. My basic idea is as follows: Have some kind of server running locally that opens a TCP connection with lua scripting Listen to some callback, for example, "player started area track with TGP" Get the coordinates of the point where TGP is looking Set steer point 50 to coordiantes Is something like this possible? All the info on scripting I've found so far has to do with ground units and missions. Is it even possible to use lua to change the state of the player aircraft dynamically.
  5. Seems that if enter MO or Dogfight mode and put the SMS page on the left MFD it defaults to INV view. In addition the INV button is invisible but you can still click it if you know where it should be. sms-dgft-issue.trk
  6. AG This can be reproduced by setting up AG, then going to another master mode like AA. - Doesn't remember what mode mavs were in (VIS, BORE, PRE) - Doesn't remember power state of HARMs - Kinda remembers which selections you removed from the table? You have to click the filter, then it correctly shows that you have already filtered and you have to restart the search. MSL OVRD Doesn't seem to remember anything, just goes into a default setup. For example if you change the FCR to ACM and then toggle MSL OVRD on/off, the FCR is back to CRM. MSL OVRD and AA Not sure if this is a bug, but MO and AA share the SLAVE/BORE mode. So if I set AA to aim-12 SLAVE and MO to BORE this will change AA to use BORE as well.
  7. You can reproduce this by enabling steer point autopilot and cycling AG master mode. Seems that when the mav enters VIS mode it breaks. Leaving AG does not fix autopilot. Setting the mav to PRE (or BORE) fixes autopilot. mav-autopilot-issue.trk
  8. It always disconnects for me unless I have it navigating to a steer point (possibly a heading as well, haven't tested.)
  9. If I enter MSL OVRD and change the FCR to be in ACM, and then toggle into a different mode. Upon entering MSL OVRD, should the FCR still be in ACM? At the moment it reverts to CRM.
  10. Hmm I guess the bug is that it doesn't remember the previous FCR mode then. If I have AAM set to use CRM and MSL OVRD to use ACM switching between AAM and MSL OVRD should also switch between CRM and ACM?
  11. Steps to reproduce: 1. Use HOTAS command dogifght switch to enter Missile override mode FCR should be in ACM but remains in CRM. Changing to ACM is possible but upon leaving MSL OVRD and returning, the FCR mode is back to CRM.
  12. If not, should it remember what the last mode was? Wondering if this is a bug as missile override mode just seems to just be a quicker way to get into AA master mode. edit: question should read: Is the missile override switch supposed to put the FCR in ACM mode? ACM not AAC
  13. Didn't he just quit?
  14. Here's another track f16-tgp-spi-bug-2.trk
  15. Were you on the right table? Were you searching for multiple signatures? How long did you search for?
  16. I don't doubt the experience of these people but I don't think ED can just trust anyone, unless they're are being paid as a consultant. This would just open up the doors for abuse otherwise. Also, are all F-16's maintained the same, can one person's experience speak to all the different squadrons and their needs? I'm not trying to be confrontational just trying to learn, but Hornet != Viper? Do they have the same subsystems/wiring? I guess I don't understand why evidence from a Hornet would contribute something here.
  17. I can reproduce this 100% of the time: 1. Have at least 2 steerpoints 2. Enter CCRP or PRE mode on a mav 3. SP (this usually change the SPI correctly but only the first time you do it in a session) 4. SP (to turn off snowplow) 5. CZ 6. SP Basically just keep pressing SP and CZ and the SPI will be stuck on the steerpoint even if you do a point/area track right after SP. I can upload a track later.
