  1. Agree with the other replies. -220s
  2. Got answered with "please see FAQ". So JTIDS it is then. I implore ED to look more into this as there is a difference between the two systems (JTIDS and FDL) and FDL was much more commonplace and only a handful of jets got JTIDS. They are simply different hardware but still serve the same purpose although there are differences between the two that I cannot post here due to forum rules.
  3. Very minor correction since it is not really relevant to DCS purposes. EPAWWS was cancelled for the F-15C and only the F-15E is getting it. Is already standard fit for the EX.
  4. Looking forward to it as well Matt! Looking forward to further news in the coming months.
  5. This might be considered arguing semantics but which Link 16 system will be on the F-15C? There are two that were installed. JTIDS which was put on a limited number of Mountain Home AFB based jets and Fighter Data Link (FDL) which was installed on the rest of the fleet due to being cheaper. They have slightly different panels and some slight differences in capability.
  6. Looking forward to the first screenshots to be released!
  7. Around the 2016-2017 timeframe. At first, the feed was sent to a tablet in the cockpit but they later integrated it to the Passive Attack Display
  8. You are correct. Too late for the year they are simulating.
  9. That did not come until about 2017ish timeframe.
  10. I am cautiously optimistic about this module. There is enough out there that an educated guess can easily be made. The general idea of how things work isn't classified. It's the numbers associated with specific systems that are.
  11. There were 2 data link systems installed in the F-15. The JTIDS system which the mentioned 390th aircraft got. The rest of the fleet got the lower cost Fighter Data Link. I think you are mistaking the V1 and the V2. The V2 was an initial AESA which only about 18 of the Alaska based F-15s got. The rest were upgraded to the V1. Late production 15Cs got the APG-70 but these were replaced with the 63V1 to free up the parts for use in the Strike Eagle
  12. Only a handful of jets got V2 (around 18 if I recall). V3 is just a bit too new for the year we are getting. Would be amazing though.
  13. Yep. Which is what the USN declared IOC with. The full progression is: 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 3i, 3F, 4. With subversions among these.
  14. From public sources, 3i software didn't really add many new features compared to 2b. It was mainly a hardware upgrade, with the big one being a new processor
  15. Will the radar version be the vanilla APG-63 or the late 90s/early 2000s APG-63(V)1?
  16. Will this information be integrated into the official DCS A-10 II Manual?
  17. It appears that some F-4s very late in their service life were retrofitted with the AN/ASQ-203 Navigation Weapon Delivery System (NWDS). It appears that many of the RF-4Cs had them and some F-4Es. It appears that only it was only applied to aircraft that did not get the DMAS retrofit. Anyone know anything about this system?

  18. Later models of the Hornet have the ALQ-165
  19. Is there an ETA as to when we will get a formal roadmap for the viper development?
  20. Hopefully this is something that can be revisited later on down the road
  21. When you first start your INS alignment, look at the bottom of your HSI page for an option that says STHDG. This performs a stored heading alignment that instead of 8 minutes takes about 1 and a half minutes
