reported New Message History menu doesn't return to previous menu when closed
hasole replied to imacken's topic in General Bugs
Instead of clicking the close button in message history, I press esc again then choose resume. It would be nice if there was a resume button next to the close if that isn't too much work for the devs. -
Good thinking, I'll try that next time. I've been jumping quickly into an Instant Action mission to check before I play a campaign or MP.

GPU usage not at 99% w/ 10700kf @ 5.1ghz

Isolated to multiplayer only. Single player is fine with campaigns and TTI syria. I just get the tacviews from the server if I want them like GAW, GS. -
GPU usage not at 99% w/ 10700kf @ 5.1ghz

I was referring my GPU not running at 99% which usually means your are cpu limited as it can't feed your GPU enough. In my case Tacview was using that much CPU that it wasn't pushing my GPU to make the pc GPU limited. I just turn it on when I want the data. -
I've worked through Kaba's Cage the bear and Heatblur's Op Reforger, then Fear the Bones. Zone 5 is definitely next with a lot of study sim ahead of me and to be fair. I think FTB has eased me into the Tomcat to prepare me for the seriousness of Zone 5. Just reading into the second mission, I need to look up how to pull 4g to notice there was even a G meter in the cabin , learning where to fly back to, to restart the engagement, etc. My notepad beside the sim is filling up fast with questions to look up away from the sim. I'm sure your third Tomcat campaign will be just as great as these.

So I've just finished this campaign and Reflected told me to come here and speak. I'm fairly new to the Tomcat and was worried if I had to do AAR in this campaign. Luckily, you can get away without doing any if you choose. This would be handy on the e-shop to put for new players. Next time I play it, hopefully I would've learnt by then At first with the first mission, I thought this was going to be a really difficult campaign. I had to get help from Reflected's youtube channel for mission 1 and I just happen to be up to mission 7, and after about 5 attempts in a week Greg released his playthrough which was handy. From there it was just like playing a movie. You learn the characters, you soak up the story. You learn the Tomcat and the Supercarrier. I have learnt lots about the Tomcat and its systems along with the Navy lingo with all the chatter and calls over the radio. It is simply fantastic and lots of fun. One of the best things about Reflected's campaigns is pdf docs you find in the campaign folder. This allowed me to be on the road away from the PC to read up on my next mission. Very very handy. The other thing that I thought was great, was at the bottom of the briefing (not in the pdf docs) the estimated game play time. This helped me to figure if I could sneak on the pc for a quick mission or if I had to wait until I could dedicated a larger amount of time. Great work by Greg and all the voice actors. I cannot thank you enough for this campaign and the price of it simple does not do it justice for the amount of hours you must've spent putting it together. To sum it up, if you don't own it. BUY IT! hasole out

Is anyone out there having issues with ExportScripts not talking to DCS even though the log file can find the airframe when you jump into sim. My DCS comms in the stream deck checks out and can read from the game. The only thing that fixes it is a reboot of Windows 10. Happens intermittently.

Thanks for confirming it.

Thank you for this pdf. Very handy

Hi everyone At night on the supercarrier, I've found that I can't salute to launch if I have the lights on. I have to turn the taxi lights off or the master lights off to be able to salute. In the special options I have it to auto blink the lights at night to salute, so when you do salute you see the light flash come back on for a second before it shoots you. I would assume on the SC at night you wouldn't use the light as it would blind everyone on the deck, however until we get hi-vis and wands for the people on the deck I use the light to taxi/hook up.

Really enjoying this campaign @IronMike, the missions are about twice as long as Cage the bear so I just need to make sure I dedicate a suitable block of time to do it. I'm up to Mission 7 and couldn't find the hind, but as people have said it gives the cpu a good work out. I'll try the mission again with @draconustip of turning wake turbulence off. At first I thought it was tacview, but that is already off. Thank you HB & Kaba for the Campaigns, and the multiplayer miz are fun to fly with a friend. Can't wait for the PG/SC and Part 2 Syria when they come out. As a lot of the community say to people.... Best module in DCS hands down.

Bumping an old thread but this might help someone. In controls there are a handful of jester so commands you can assign to keyboard shortcuts, you can then set these up as hot keys on the stream deck. For all other jester commands you need to make a multi action with hotkeys with the sequence you want it to execute. Similar to how Bailey does his voiceattack profile.

STREAM DECK PROFILES LIBRARY
hasole replied to ZQuickSilverZ's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I have 3 stream decks and no choice but to use profiles, I've spent many hours converting folders into profiles so I can use them between the different stream decks. Pages only just came out a month or 2 back with 5.1, just gotta work out your work flow. -
Just came across this. I wish we could have a shortcut to the c:\pro..\ed..\dcs..\ folder in the my missions. Instead of having to go all the way to up root then back down.

Hi Greg Could we get a new link for the dc please Thanks

There is this for the Tomcat
-
No. I'm primarily on the monitor and sometimes wmr vr. It has been fine since maybe 2.5.6

Same here for my Warthog throttle. I tried copying the diff files back but they don't work. The show up in game but then you end up with the default binds as well as mine. This is for the Tomcat and Viper.
-
Not sure what has gone on with the config diff files, I backup my diff files before every update and usually just copy them back and its ok. This time it copies them back but merges them with the default. i.e my warthog throttle has BTN21 assigned to the default and also what I have in my diff so it doesn't work. I've just reset it to default and then changed them to how they should be and backed them up. For the lighting that people are reporting in here. I notice it the most in Fear the bones campaign mis 1, at night its super bright. mis 3 in the morning you can't turn on the lights bright enough.

The latest openbeta update has broken my stream deck plug in I think. It can read the state of the switches but if I push them on the stream deck they don't flick the switch. This is in the Tomcat Anyone else getting this with the 2.7.7 update yesterday?
