You will need a10c 1.2 to work in DCS World. I've left my A10C 1.1.1.1 install for now but you don't really need it unless you are flying online with A10C servers only. Just install the latest DCS World, then 1.2 A10c module and you are good to go.
-
Standalone...but with BS1 installed you can upgrade to the latest BS2 for $19.99, download DCS World for free then you're in. The whole sheebang for $24.99. Not bad if you ask some:thumbup:

Works for me also but, when you ask ground cntrl and they say copy, does it not display the time up in the the left top corner for repair? Here's what I do after taxi to ramp. Switch The intercom control panel dial from VHF to INT and request ground power to on...once clear shut down. Request Repair, ect, ect...I'm trying to figure out where you are missing out to not getting a repair. Unless you are at a neutral airbase, I can't see why you are not getting any action on the ground crew part.

That is strange as I have no problem in my own missions so far and I have A10c 1.1.1.1 still installed. I have 1 client and the rest player along with 2 AI and divisions of armor on both sides. I have jumped from armor to A10 through out the mission(till 4:00am!). I'm going to go check out the set up for that mission again.

That makes sense, thx! Here's a shot from last nights MP mission. That's someone's MRLS fire control raining down on a division of T80's. Killed my FPS when I was running in for a CBU 107 drop. But I still managed to get a few in the end:joystick: Looks like the MRLS was a bit off....

You are not an idiot:D

You know this is a beta, but did you know this is a beta release? Lot's and more of these issues will be fixed/implemented/ect. Please give it a chance and have some patience. And remember, if it really bothers you, you can wait till the final release comes out:thumbup:

We played out a great MP mission last night...before I knew it, it was 4:00am...man the wife wasn't happy:D F7 will get your ext view...only way I can drive at 74mph

[INVESTIGATING] Bino View with multi-screen Setup
CaptHawk replied to Nirvi's topic in Bugs and Problems
Let us know how well it works out :) -
 Was doing 74mph in a leopard last night..the wheel would have been a good idea!
-
8 degrees bubble up? Havn't checked that out yet...hmm
-
The thing is, if in the mission you have added "client" slots for the A10C, you simple "esc" out to spectator and join the "A10C" slot. But if you are flying and want to join a tank, you loose that slot and have to rejoin another. At least that has been my experience so far...:joystick:
-
Just to add as per the speed of ground forces limited to 35mph...I had the Leopard tank up to 72 mph on the road once I was in 7th gear full throttle. When I was setting the M1A2's speed at full they were only doing 35mph. When I jumped in one it was in 4th gear.... Also I was in a Mutli mission on the blue side with maybe 8 Leopards and a dozen M109's against 20 T80's...wiped out in no time:D Makes sense to add some bradleys in this case and at least 1 A10C...

As is stated "DUXFORD, UK, May 31st 2012 – The Fighter Collection and Eagle Dynamics will offer DCS: Combined Arms as a digital download pre-purchase for $29.99 in June 2012. Pre-purchase also provides access to pre-release Beta versions of the title. " So when the final version comes out, yes, you have already paid for it. This was the same for A10c standalone. Don't worry guys. With all our input this will turn out to be mucho worth it. Be patient:thumbup:
-
Basically everything that was in 1.1.1.1 A10C standalone is now combined into DCS World 1.2.0.0 and the module A10C 1.2.0.0:pilotfly:Moving up....
-
Good idea.
-
I guess everyone's different but I found it straight forward . Install DCSW, after that, install the 19.98MB CA, install the 174.42MB P51, install the 734.25MB A10. Did not take long at all. Maybe I should get BS:D

Can't wait for the Mission builder pros to come up with some clever missions. In the meantime, I'm doing my best to put together some short missions so my new tanker recruits can get up to speed with the DCS way:thumbup:
-
copy and save in a location of your choosing the config folder from the "my saved games" folder.
-
Yes, my M1A1 Abrams's were nearly wiped out by the AI(on excellent) T80's in an epic standoff...as you can see I was unable to participate after swamping my tank. Note to self: stay clear of the river banks:D And these guys are now on bowl scrubbing duty...

Help, DCS World Download, 'source file is corrupted'
CaptHawk replied to Ramstein's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
well at least with torrent, you "shouldn't" get any more corrupt source file warnings. I'm doing backups before I install so won't know how mine goes till that's done:D -
No kidding! Thanks Wag's and the team at ED!!! p.s. I heard from Timmy :)
-
Yes you can both independently. I would install it all. Need to fix up my DCS world A10 multi monitor setup though, as you cannot use the LUA from A10 in DCS World...it really messes things up:joystick:
-
:D That's the spirit...:pilotfly:

Game Master has control of all units so I would say yes. I like this idea also "In addition to the ground command roles, players can also direct ground forces from the cockpit of their DCS aircraft."
