Setting "textures" (not "terrain textures") to medium did the trick for me. I also turn off the mirrors using a keybind when my system struggles (mostly in situations when many ai assets are active). I'm running a Pico 4 using VD in godlike, 5800x3d, 4080, 64 GB RAM. 72 fps with SSW active. I really love the Corsair. But performance is a nightmare compared to other modules. Hope they fix this soon...

The F4U AI also seems to be very suiciadal when it comes to ground attacks. When attacking an airfield at least one of the AI Corsairs crashes while trying to bomb a target.

This could be another solution to this problem. I've set up a mission where the carrier was part of a carrier group with support vessels. One of the support vessels was "number 1" in this group. I wasn't able to get a trap in this scenario. When I removed the other vessels (carrier in number 1 again) landing works fine.

I might have found a solution to the problem of not beeing able to get a trap on the Essex when setting it up in ME. I've noticed something odd re this issue: When I load into a mission it seems like ALL different F4U liveries/skins are loaded into the mission. I can see this on the foled up wings - they change through the different colours/skins realy quick. Looked to me like some sort of flickering in the first place. This doesn't happen with other modules. I guess this could be a reason for the performance hit.

So, this issue isn't solved then?

Changing textures to "medium" did the trick for me for now - but again, I can play all other modules on "high" without any problems.

I'm also experiencing massive fps drops with the corsair. They come out of nowhere on every map that I own. If I fly the same mission with another module everything is fine. System: 4080, 5800x3d, 64 GB Ram - PICO 4

Hi. I cannot open DCS in VR after latest update. 2D mode works, but when I try to open it in VR the sim crashes to desktop (WMR cliff house). Everything worked well before the update. I don't have any mods etc. installed.

Hi. After todays update I've noticed that CBUs overshoot the target by a couple of hundred meters. CBU 105 in PRE mode with TGP and CBU 97 in CCRP with F16 Viper.
