  9. Hello everyone, I can't get the terminal guidance of the F-18 to work. Camera quality is awful, I don't see anything on it. I tried warious distance from the missile, to little effect. It also seems like the camera is looking elsewhere than the missile. Also, the flight parameters don't seem to work. Any advice ? Aigle2
  10. I agree that Jester switching from pure relaxed state about speed to full panic then back to full relaxed is a bit strange. But speed calls are so useful ! I really hope in the future we can have more calls like that, like G's, altitude if too low, etc... Directionnal calls should also have a rework (3 o'clock, etc...) because they are not always precise, but on the other hand Jester seems to be omnicient sometimes. It's more about the "spotting" speed rather than the ability to keep track of a target. For future additions to Jester callouts, I would prefer to have a "unified emotionnal state" which will bring more "coherency" ! Best regards to the team, Aigle2

  12. To be honest I don't think a precise RCS value is necessary, because what is needed is a "gameplay" fix. The goal of such a change would be to stop an exploit about bombs and gliding bombs being more effective in a DEAD role than HARMS...
  13. Will the F-18 have at some point a Terrain radar mode ? To make low flying in low visiblity conditions possible ?
  14. DCS has a core issue. Take a SA-15. It can intercept HARMs fired at it. Good. But...not the bombs. In multiplayer, everyone uses JSOWs and GBUs to kill SAMs, because they can't detect and fire at them in response. Which make them better than HARMs to do SEAD/DEAD. This is not realistic, because from the SAM's radar perspective, a missile or a bomb is the same kind of radar contact. And because bombs are slower, it should even be easier to intercept them. I don't think their is any major technical issue to correct this. So...could you ED change that ?
  15. Hi @IronMike, My community noticed in our campaign that since a few month/weeks, AIM-54 performance (especially in TWS) dropped. I noticed on the forums that you were planning at some point to have a mid-flight guidance rework. However, with ED wanting to take charge of missiles, how or will this affect their development ? It would be nice if you could give some details about whether or not their current behaviour is normal or (indeed) quite buggy, whether or not you are working on it, or intending to, and what are Heatblur's goals on it. The Tomcat is one of the greatest module in DCS, and we really are looking forward to be able to fire our AIM-54s again and make the AMRAAM lovers scream a bit ! Best regards from France, Aigle2

  18. HI ! I've been doing some SEAD/DEAD missions with friends in Harriers using sidearms missiles, and we have been surprised to see how low is the precision of the HARM. I usually get 15-20% destroy rate. My missiles fall next to the radars, between 2 to 20 meters away from them, hitting the targets with the blast, but not killing anything. The Harriers' sidearms have a kill probability of around 75% in our missions, which is a huge difference. Firing on TOO mode usually, a few times in SP. Can anybody explain me what's wrong or give me a few tips ? Thanks ! Aigle2
  19. From a gameplay perspective, what would an A-6E (AI or playable) bring more than a F-14 ? I feel like in terms of payload, F-14 in Bombcat configuration is equivalent to A-6E (except for a few exceptions like SEAD). Can anyone give me some details about the strengh of an A-6E compared to a Bombcat ? Nevertheless, the A-6E is a gorgeous plane !
  20. @BIGNEWY Do you think that with the Huey multicrew launched, other helicopters like the Gazelle or the future Kiowa will be able to use the same technology ? Can 3rd Party Devs use it for their modules ?
