Okay so I'm starting to think it's not just Raptr, but my actual DCS loading sequence. Whenever I join an MP server, I first see the regular loading screen and then the map. After the map, I see the following two screens. The first one is always light blue, as if I'm zoomed into the sea on the map. Raptr is still on (see first attached image). I stare at this screen for about 3 minutes and then this one appears for about 5 seconds (see second attached image) which is when Raptr disappears. After the second screen, I am shown the regular aircraft selection menu at which point Raptr remains off. Are these loading screens normal?

Perhaps it's a driver thing? I'll see if the guys at the Raptr forums might know and I'll post if I get a solution. In the meantime, if anyone else has a solution, let me know :)

Yes, I have updated to 1.5. Still stumped.

Couldn't find any threads on Raptr turning itself off so I made a new thread. Sorry if it's been covered elsewhere. Can't seem to find the exact problem anywhere else, but when I start DCS, Raptr says it's "turning on" and it manages to do so after a few seconds. Then it works normally, telling me my frame rate and my recording hotkey combo. However, if I enter an MP server, all of that disappears and I cannot turn it on. This obviously leaves me unable to capture my missions as there's no way to reactivate it. Is there any known solution to this?

My first PvP guns kill flying the F-15 in DCS 1.5 :) I had to get shot down many times for this one kill, though! And a nice Galm Team screenshot too:

I use the AIM-7 and AIM-9 1980's loadout almost exclusively online, regardless of what weapons the other team may be packing. So far, slightly less than half of my AIM-7s have hit their targets, with only one Su-27 having no idea I was there (Belly shot, rear aspect) since DCS 1.5.0, and I played once yesterday with no discernible difference in AIM-7 tracking noticed. Almost every AIM-7 shot was fired from under 10,000' and under ~8nm ranges. When I'm flying, I can't afford to fly high once in the combat zone. An F-15 carrying only AIM-7s and AIM-9s has to be hidden in order to get the kill against 1990's weapon-armed F-15s, Flankers and Fulcrums.

I'm not sure if my problem is the same as OP's, I do not fully understand what "abris" or "ekran" mean. I want to make my Su-27 cockpit symbology in Cyrillic but I can't find the option. Rrohde, are you saying your Su-27 cockpit is in Russian? My HUD is all in English but I find only a "default" option under the "Special" tab for FC3 cockpits.

Nevermind, I found it. I started DCS 1.2.x Multiplayer and help down the Shift button and was then prompted for activation. I then put in the serial number for FC3 and everything works now in 1.5. Thanks!

Hi, Maybe I'm stupid, but I can't find anything about this DRM tool. I can't find it in any folders, I can't search it up on windows explorer and I cannot find a link to it online. I haven't tried that step yet, but so far FC3 is always giving me the invalid login bug on 1.2 and 1.5.

Hello, A few friends and I are trying to build a Sabre simpit for our school. One problem we're having however, is that things like the F-86's bomb wind adjustment knob and rocket run approach angle knob are not axes in DCS. You have to press buttons to adjust them. We want to find a way to extract the game's knob position and record it in realtime to an external program so we can model our own physical knob's movement with the one shown in-game. Is there any way to do this?

I made the autoexec.cfg file, and yes, it did save as a .cfg. I put in the requested lines and the 104th TS still says "You must change your network settings to see this post". So I click the link provided and I'm sent back here:http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2510672&postcount=394 Is that an error, or is that message referring to a post that I can't see? If I connect to the IP provided earlier in this thread, I also get a black screen.

Weird, but it sorted itself out. Just started the game again last evening and all was well.

See the screenshot below. I was playing yesterday, and none of the numbers on my HUD, radar display and nothing at all on my weapons panel other than the wing outlines was displayed. I've only tried the F-15 so far. I thought that maybe it was the graphics settings, so I reduced the visibility range from high to medium and it fixed the problem. However, I started DCS up today and the glitch returned, regardless of the graphic settings I fiddled with. Anyone else have this problem?

As hummingbird and I discovered during some online matches, the Sabre seems to handle more easily, not dropping a wing as easily. In addition, the MiG-15's lack of G-suit also made it very difficult for the MiG-15 pilot to sustain anything over 6 G's for an extended period while the Sabre pilot could pull 7. Before 1.5, both pilots would not black out until they sustained 8 G's.

I was playing around MP last night with a few buddies and I tried to scare them off with FLOOD mode as a joke. They didn't react so when I asked them if they were getting a launch warning, they said no. The bow lights were on and my AIM-7 was selected. Anyone else have the same issue?

I haven't been able to find another thread specifically on tracks. I am running Windows 7 with an intel i7-2600K @ 3.4GHz(2 CPUs), 8 G of RAM, GTX 570. Every single track I have recorded yet does not show what actually happened in-game. I.e., if I do a simple in flight refueling mission, my plane doesn't refuel in the track. In fact, everytime, it will fly just above and behind the tanker. I posted two tracks. One of the refueling and another where I fight an AI Su-27. In the latter track, my AIM-7 is supposed to hit the Su-27 at the end with a boresight to STT lock. However because the plane flies differently than how I flew it, the boresight never sees the Su-27 so the missile is just launched and goes ballistic. refueling.trk Su-27 vs F-15 dodge test.trk

Yep, I've been in correspondence with the 159th for now. Hopefully they will add an 80's scenario to their MP mission rotation.

Make note that the F-15's curves in the scanned pages is not very accurate. Comparing it to the STR values in the -1 manual shows that the Russians slightly overestimated the Eagle's turning capabilities.

The thing is, it's hard to get IOC information for Russian aircraft. As soon as something is built, they put it "into service", but that doesn't mean anything if there are only 3 planes and 1 of them has no radar. I can never find true, official government or service-approved IOC dates. I think in fact, that the Su-27 first was delivered in 1984 but I think it is widely agreed that not enough planes or radar sets were available until 1986 meaning that the Su-27S didn't really reach true IOC til 86. That being said, there is no equivalent information on the SPS-171 ECM pods. The US on the other hand, has published IOC dates for pretty much everything which are much more difficult to argue with, making it easier for mission designers.

It will be up to the mission designers whether to include the A-10C and Su-25T. You're right though, if it's made really really accurate, it will bring a perfect atmosphere to the fight. MiG-21bis pilots would be much more likely to join as well. They become a tougher opponent when you have to face hordes of them with only AIM-7/9's.

Thanks, guys. Basher, did you mean to say that you have no info on the Sorbstya ECM pods? Hopefully someone's got an IOC. That's true.. but from a server standpoint, all I can hear is people yelling "where the heck is the A-10C?" and then leave. I think perhaps the best balance I can have is limiting weapons, but keep the A-10C and Su-25T. I'm not how many people will miss the Su-33 though.
