We have several variations and various types of bord numbers, most countries/styles will be covered. - Cobra847 Yott- Cobra is aware of your observation and the current bord set are placeholders. I'm sure this will be added at the bottom of cobras massive "still to do" list.

Have not flown piston a/c in DCS for quite a while I think I'd be best catching up on the P-51D procedures/ flying characteristics. I've forgotten almost everything :-O

My personal choice has been Nvidia. Now if you are going to play with massive three screen setup then, Radeon Iffinity might be the way to go. Otherwise Nvidia all the way.

Hmmm I'm still not sure weather to get this or not! I want to fly russian fighters (Mig-29 or SU-27). Can anyone tell if the cockpits of these aircraft have been improved at all? Even in resolution quality? The pits in FC2 of these aircraft are not good at all. Any full pit screen shots available to help me make a decision? Thank guys . Enjoy FC3 :thumbup:

Great advice here and in other posts too. One thing ill mention here is the X52 pro has a twist rudder on the stick. The TM HOTAS warthog has no twist rudder so you'll might be on the look out for a set of pedals too ;) Take your time, enjoy flying and learning the aircraft and systems.:D

Rolling in on some Tanks in a steep dive in CCIP mode I pressed weapon release for my MK82's to come off......... Only my wings came off in flames and a quick meeting with the ground shortly after. What happened I asked myself? Upon checking I seamed to have picked MK82AIR's in high drag release!!!!! So it seams I blew myself up with my own bombs crashing into the wings. DOH!

How do you know he was dealing with the Igla-S? He was not sure of what hit him himself. Is that the only manpad that could of reached him up there without warning? ( Not trolling here BTW, just want to know because if thats the case I really need to fly higher ;) )

Ok let all start from scrach with a new engine. Spend 3-4 years getting the core of the sim ready for beta; spend another 2 years or so in beta; reading on forums how bugged the sim is; then maybe another 2 years to allow for 3rd party developers to get their aircraft right to the standard that we expect. Now we are good to go!! Oh by then the engine will be most likely out of date! :-D :-P hehe. No thank you I dont think I can cope :-P Enjoy whats coming in DCS I think its the best modular sim platform there is.

Ah cool thanks :-) I ordered a Track IR5 after spending ages thinking about it. You never know I might make a good moving bullet magnet for someone. Ill def check that server out.
