Learn to point your radar. dont just change the scan size on the radar screen and expect to pickup some blips. You need to learn adjust your radar to a point in the sky/forward hemisphere. For now.. get Reading! :P

When I run TacView my terrain is 'black', as well as all objects. I load an ACMI txt file, and can press play and see the trk acmi playing, but theres is no color, and everything is black. I have an ATI card. Is there something Im doing wrong? Ive dl'd 3 times already. Exported .lua's to config/export.. And exe/.dat in own tacview folder in Lockon. :(

Hmm 23% free space. Make sure you change that pagefile! Min at 4096 is too high! Try my settings.

Try changing your pagefile to 1536min, 1536max. Reboot, defrag, and see what happens. I have mine currently 2046min, 4092max, with Corsair TwinX 2GIG DDR500. How much free space you have on the Lockon drive/partition?

trust you? single drive, or dual in RAID0? Ive had this problem before, and it was crazy. Was real annoying when you 'freeze' when weaving through the mountains, and during that freeze your saying to yourself 'please unfreeze before I crash, repeat,repeat'. I then had a Nvidia 5900XT, IDE 80Gb WD, 1024GB DDR400 DualChannel. Now I have similar specs to Cali.

I used to have the problem you have occuring. That pagefile size is waaay to large, and useless. Keep it to 1.5 -2 x your ram. No higher. Also is the pagefile on the same windows partition, or another partition? Since I upgraded to 2x36GB WD Raptors spinning at 10000rpm :p Ive never seen any pauses yet. My strong belief is a HDD problem accessing the virtual ram.

thats nothing. I was flying with Mustang up in the clouds and he turned left and a Klingon Invisible shield cloaked his jet and he disspeared! I thought it was warp, but a few seconds later the cloak gradually faded and he was back. I really freaked out! :) Something to do with the shader and lighting with the cloud I think that caused it. :)
