If people want to be negative about LO:FC just because it has SF protection, then too bad for them. They miss out on a great title and hours of fun, that we as LO:FC users' are already having! :) I have no griefs with SF. It protects my purchase as a customer. For every game obtained that's pirated. those that paid their hard earned money, lose out, in turn so does the game developer. ED as a company, has every right to protect their product. Heck most companies target their games now for XBOX or PS market, because PC market sales are more likely to be pirated and the company would potentially lose $$$$ instantly. Do a search in google. And tell me how many people are complaining about their systems being destroyed/DVD's not working. Then compare that to how many people possibly have the game. First up they think 'SF did it', because it has a bad rep by some. If Doom3 had SF, I'd bet all those Doom3 users that had problems when it first came out(SF non-realted or course), would most likely be pointing the finger at SF as well. Ironic. Dont forget no russian users have reported any damage to hardware related from SF. So SF put up a competition to prove that SF can damage your system. You could win big $$!! All in all, flame my post.. but I have no quifs with SF whatsoever. I can understand your fustration Scotsman. I hope a solution is found for you. by the way, I recall if you hold ctrl or alt- whilst lockon prepares to load, it will prompt you for activation. could be wrong.

I dont think this would work, 'unless' both HL and UBI could be loaded at the same time? Hence, showing server in HL and UBI at the same time, that will display players in game/server status. Either one essentially loads the game, sooo.. you need to hook one with the other somehow.

The problem there is that SONY did not tell customers that the CD's would install rootkit software on their computers. And hence got slapped for it. Completely different to StarForce, and its methods.

Perhaps aliens hijacked a cessna and used there minds to cloak it so they didnt embarass themselves after they worked out what the stick does. :)

Ok may have fixed it. Will update with further results.

I can also confirm this. Was looking at this with Mustang earlier. I have a ATI X800Pro. All I can think of is that a different shader effect is possibly used on the other weapons that dont have soft shadows cast on them.

Or how about hosting up a server on UBI called " Hyperlobby Game Servers - http://www.hyperfighter.sk ". That way they'll see the server name, pay some interest, and head over and download HL. Heck I may even do it soon, no one can join but the can read the title clearly. But for now.. back to other important threads and pages. ;)

official. by *both* I meant Input folder and Config folder. Im back on Version3x TIR drivers now, its not as noticable. But the screen shake is still there, I just quickly alt-tab and its gone. Until I reformat, it seems to be always present.

Since the new patch my trackir was causing violent pit shaking intermittently, and occasionaly when looking over the hud going vertical. Removed Trackir, sure enough problem didnt occur. So Im getting a bad fps stutter with my trackir after installing the new patch, im yet to try out the version 3 drivers, and see if the problem still occurs. And yes, I did a fresh reinstall and the same thing happened.

Gameport to USB adapter should do the trick I believe.

On occasions I thought this does oocur. Or maybe its just my trim adjustments, not reseting properly.

Im using my X45 throttle with a MSPrecisionPro2 :) The PCB board is located in the X45's stick, so I just removed it, used a diskette box housing for it, and cut the wires leading to the stick. Customised my lockon settings afterwards. I plan to later modify the sticklater into a helo stick, extend the wires. :) EDIT:Saitek profile will still work as normal, just the stick settings wont work ;) Works a treat.
