  1. Edit: Sorry I did not see Loki's post! we reported same thing, sorry. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=102006. See that thread
  2. If you have version 1.1.1.1, it was fixed in later versions. Old stand a lone versions are no longer updated. Download DCS World Download A-10C Module Install DCS World Install A-10C Module Current DCS World & A-10C is 1.2.3 1.1.1.1 was a stand a lone version and is very old now.
  3. It doesn't sound like regression. Of all the things getting fixed and added for 1.2.3, and now no more reports of MP issues, they seem to have this one problem. I cant imagine them needing to wait until the weekend to test this, wouldn't imagine needing 20 testing in MP for something like that...but who knows
  4. Check this sticky http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=58470 However, a lot of the lists are probably out dated as the sticky was started in beta phase a couple years ago. I am sure you can find a good list though from sticky or from searching.
  5. :megalol::megalol::joystick::pilotfly: have fun!
  6. There are also landmines you can place but anyway, on topic, i'd also like to see different variants of troops. I'd even like to see the US Manpad Comms guy have no launchers on the group next to him, he could simply then be a jtac soldier, he already has radio gear on him.
  7. Yup, just download the A-10C Module for DCS World and install. http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?scr=product&ProductId=8&end_pos=136&lang=en Ignore 1.1.1.1. All DCS Modules simply have a .exe installer, no multiple files to download anymore. (Only DCS World it'self has multiple files, bin1, bin2, etc.) Modules just have a single installer.
  8. To quite myself from another thread, to install/play A-10c... http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1682843&postcount=4 Does not matter if you bought 1.2.2 (module for DCS world) or the stand a lone 1.1.1, serial # will work for DCS world.
  9. 1. Download DCS World 2. Download DCS A-10C Module 3. Install DCS World 4. Install DCS A-10C Module 5. Play For all future updates, patches, etc, use DCS World and the A10C Module. The old standalone version no longer gets updates as the future is DCS world with the modules plugged in. Your serial key will work the same for DCS World A10c module or the A10C stand a lone.
  10. "We are probably HOURS...(laughs)..or maybe days away from next update 1.2.3" 1hr 1min in. I love the chuckle after he said hours. I can only imagine the instant thoughts of rage he could foresee if he didn't add onto that comment :D :megalol: :pilotfly:
  11. I've updated the mission with a couple improvements. See attachment for download Updates Removed su25t as it was not needed added battlefield commander fix (thanks jib) added a "zone" around the units that is a 12km circle, so if you damage the units and they fly away (more than 12km away from center of AAA) and RTB, that group is no longer considered a thread and is considered dead, so you can pick a new group of the same type. Example: you damage 2xA10 Attack 1 group, they flee, now you can select 2xA10 attack 2 group. vulcan_shilka_pratice_v1.1.miz
  12. Thanks!
  13. EDIT Made an updated version please see a couple posts below. Ok try new mission. This one gives the player the option on what they want to hit. Let me know if this works out for practice shooting and/or any adjustments needed. See attachment for download TL;DR Summary You select what targets you want by using the Radio > F10 - Other command. Then you are presented with a list of targets, attack targets or orbit targets. Simply press the corresponding F# (F1-F6) to spawn that group. Mission info PLEASE NOTE: You will start in the Su25T for initial radio useage, as I do not own CA and unsure of how the CA radio works.. Just simply use your radio key ( Default "\" ) then F10 - Other. You may have to press the radio button twice at mission start for F10 - Other option to appear. Then just enter your desired vulcan or shilka vehicle. Welcome to AAA Practice with the Vulcan and Shilka. You can choose which targets you would like to shoot at. Your target choices are A-10C, Ka-50, and Su-25t. Simply use your Radio, select Other, and pick the group you want to shoot. You have a total of 25 vulcan and 25 shilkas (5 groups with 5 units, each). When a group dies, a new group will respawn, until all are dead. group info for mission Attack groups will use guns only. Orbit groups will simply orbit in a circle around you. You have three groups of each to try and kill. Example Three A10C Attack Groups Three A10C Orbit Groups You can have multiple groups out at once, but of different types. For example, radio call 2xA10 Attack 1 2xKa50 Attack 1 You will have two Ka50s and two A10cs trying to kill you. However, you cannot have more than one attack orbit group out at once. Example: 2xA10C Attack 1 You will not be able to fight more A10 Attack groups while you kill the first Attack 1 group. After that, a new radio button will appear that says "2xA10 Attack 2"
  14. I've tried searching, came up empty, looked at screen shots and videos, came up empty... I don't own CA but I would like to know if the trigger "Radio item ADD" works in CA like it does for flyers? IE: "Radio > F10 - Other" is what appears for flyers. Does the same trigger system work for CA? So for instance you make the trigger, then can see it on the radio menu, hit the corresponding F# key to trigger the flag#.
  15. great news!
  16. Try the mission as a base, a template if you will. Use it as an example, like grimes said on how to do activations, to make your own or edit this one. To Reduce number of planes/helos in a flight - Click flight and instead of (unit 1 of 4), change it just 1, or 2. Could make it easier. Basically if you want to do a practice mission with different waves, just take a look at the triggers in the mission, or read what grimes wrote. You can do further things such as make your group immortal or invisible with advance waypoint options. If you make them immortal, the a10s will still attack you, but you won't die. So just experiment.
  17. It's all in good fun. Damn ED is good at keeping us guessing and hoping and excited about content :joystick: :pilotfly:
  18. I do not own CA. I have absolutely no idea how effective this was, and it seemed the posters here wanted something like this but nobody was providing them a mission. Poster wanted A10s, Su25ts and Ka50s. Hopefully those that have CA will know how effective they are against certain targets and they can make adjustments to the targets, you can even set them up so they never engage so you, or you can make your group immortal so you can just practice shooting at them. If anything this mission would at least give them an idea how to setup something similar. This was never intended to be realistic. If I had CA and played it, obviously I'd be able set something up that's realistic for practice shooting.
  19. I thought as of 1.2.3 they are called vaporware... /hides :pilotfly:
  20. EDIT: Please see next page for new mission.
  21. I found forcing AF in control panel made things worse and based on my searches and reading, the game already has AF automatically applied... Try disabling your AF in control panel and see if it helps, who knows I could be wrong but I stopped forcing AF in DCS acouple years ago maybe it's changed. also, try zooming in a little bit, it should make the chart much clearer.
  22. Ok, I think I solved the issue. SEE EDIT. I believe the issue is the Red flight "New airplane Group #005". (EDIT: It's the payload for this group., use default fighter sweep payload for both, custom payload was causing issue) To test this: 1. Load up mission by without any changes, ctrl+z to reach 2min mark faster. (shift+z for normal playback speed) 2. At around 2min 19sec it will crash. 3. Select Red airplane group, "New airplane group #005", and check "Late Activation" 4. Run mission, ctrl+z to reach 2min mark faster. (then shift+z for normal speed) 5. Once you hit 2min 19sec, it should continue without any issues... For me it works. So whatever the issue is with that flight I have no idea, so maybe remove it and make a new flight that was doing that flights job, or some kind of work around. Maybe it's the payload, i'll double check. EDIT: Okay, it was the payload. Don't have to remove the flight, for whatever reason the custom payload was the issue. I selected the first default fighter sweep payload for both SU-33's and it's working. The error log had some error about some negative payload, so when I seen that I just deactivated all flights then activated one by one on red side until i seen it was flight group #005 causing the issue.
  23. I noticed on the trigger Trigger: (Main SA-11 RDR DOWN) Condition: UNIT DEAD (Unit #2) Actions: Group Activate, German tanks-1, UK-Warrior-1, UK Challenger-1 Those groups do not have late activation checked. I can't imagine that would be the issue, but if they need to activate, they'll need late activation checked. Maybe at one point you made the mission back when you had to do like 24hrs on time when late activation wasn't an option? edit: nope that didn't fix it, back to checking.. It crashes at exactly 2min 19sec for me, for anybody else that checks...so gotta figure out what causes it at that point
  24. I'll take a look but can't promise anything :P So what happens when it crashes, anything specific?
  25. It's up to the mission builder. By default, they will disperse under fire. However, it's probably set to false for those units in the missions you are flying. Edit: If they never move, then "Disperse while under fire" is set to false. If they do move a short bit, then it's true. If the units have no other waypoints and are under attack, they will move only a short distance, sometimes they will move again, but they don't go very far.
