  1. I always like finding imaginative takes on things. These are some of my favorites: Typhoon Red Arrows http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?/topic/130242-what-if-schemes/&do=findComment&comment=1426626 JSDF A-10 http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?/topic/130242-what-if-schemes/&do=findComment&comment=2176300 Blue Angels Viggen http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?/topic/130242-what-if-schemes/&do=findComment&comment=1299003 Canadian phantom & others here https://2.bp.blogspot.com/_RtYCLAY8wsY/S71flJ9OR-I/AAAAAAAAAkY/wsykFFzMOPY/s1600/Canada+4.jpg https://studiogekko.blogspot.com/p/rafale.html JSDF SU_27 http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?/topic/130242-what-if-schemes/&do=findComment&comment=1398899 USN SU-27 http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?/topic/130242-what-if-schemes/&do=findComment&comment=1366166 111 SQN Mig 21 Pure Speed click on the picture. http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?/topic/130242-what-if-schemes/page/29/&tab=comments#comment-1297815 A-10 & F-14 https://www.instagram.com/p/CMdX77UhwHm/ Edit: My first topic was a bit harsh. I am sorry.
  2. This reminded me of a thread I stumbled across many years ago. I like what if aircraft. They are fun. Get the imagination going. Anyhow, here is a JSDF A-10 Dragon. What say you skinners? http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?/topic/130242-what-if-schemes/&do=findComment&comment=2176300 You could replace the figure on the tail with a Dragon or a Samurai etc.

  3. Sketchfab of any help? Maybe they would let you use the models? https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/dune-2021-harkonnen-ornithopter-37c51fb62f2640edacfcd57e08176118 https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/ornithopter-dune-2020-fb03d4aa0d42452fa8e8ea348b7ffce5
  4. PEBCAK - Problem exists between chair and keyboard Thanks for trying Pokeraccio. Sorry everyone, this was my fault. Follow the install instructions. Especially the install in coremods part. What does the Mighty Jingles say? "I'm old and I'm crap"
  5. I am sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but, was not sure where else to post this. I can get the Canada 150 and Norad 60 skins ok. I can see the 2003 Tiger meet skin listed, but it does not come up. Hopefully this skin is still working. I have tried it under Canada and Combined. It is listed but the skin does not work. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

  8. Here is the start of a build: https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235098989-saab-ja37-viggen-jetmads-132/ For those of us that prefer smaller kits there are the Special Hobby and Tarangus 1/48th kis. AJ and JA. Do your research before buying. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehCmVW7GfcU
  9. I know this isnt plastic kits, but, think the people that buy the Viggen for the game would want to know about this. I dont know if a lot of people go to the plastic section? https://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?/topic/86383-jetmads-132-viggen/&do=findComment&comment=1298898 https://www.jetmads.com/product-page/1-32-ja37-viggen I am not associated with the company, I just wanted to share the info before they sell out.
  10. Good points Sirrah. Your layout looks good I had considered replacing the plastic tray with wood to widen the surface area. This would allow a throttle and mouse and stick. Then the strength of the metal and clamp becomes even more important. I have to use the same chair for flight sim and pc stuff. I have to figure something out soon. Really annoying dropping things from my lap.
  11. I was thinking that for those of us with limited space that this could would, but I am not convinced. https://www.amazon.com/Multifunctoinal-Clamping-Keyboard-Support-Compfortable/dp/B07KGKNZ95 Any thoughts?
  12. Love the SR-71's. Thanks to everyone involved. If I can suggest, they need weathering. https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234951555-what-color-for-sr-71a-how-to-weather/ Or this discussion http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?/topic/208499-sr-71-blackbird-doubts/ Basically "iron ball" not shiny and that picture posted in Britmodeller shows streaks etc. Again thanks to everyone involved. Sorry to go off topic, but I am trying to decide if I can find someplace to display the new Revell 1/48 SR-71. Hang from the ceiling? https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235067176-148-lockheed-sr-71-blackbird-by-revell-3d-renderstest-shotsbox-art-release-october-2021/&do=findComment&comment=4173509
  13. Thank you both. I think that one of the things that I would very much appreciate is trim control. 4 bars I think that you could slide left or right but they must be finely calibrated. Trimming especially for WWII fighters is important I think. Am I wrong?
  14. Can you wait? Leaks about alder lake are coming out, and if true, they look to be faster than the current intels. Possibly 22% better than an AMD 5950 is nothing to sniff at IMHO. Skip to 9:36 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oY4pTQswMYE
  15. I've read about a few of these such as gameglass etc, just wondering when/if something with button box capability might come to the flight sim community? I'd be be more interested in a button box app that works with a cheap tablet for example. https://flowracers.com/blog/best-sim-racing-dashboard-app/
  16. Sorry if already posted. Xbox https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4G6hYgOzZvI PS4 Dual shock This one has triggers. It's two sticks. So HOSAS ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Gj2HqlANm4 No idea how good they are but, maybe an option if you are waiting for things to come back into stock. Thanks to this gentleman for making all these various designs free to people.

  19. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkiTA0XvXUM The numbers on some of these boards concern me. As crap as my system is(and it is), I think waiting for 2022 for a new system is my only option. I guess by then the ATX12VO boards will be standard?
  20. Especially if you are a skinner/looking to make things for the PTO. http://www.aviationofjapan.com/ Early Zero http://www.aviationofjapan.com/2011/10/painting-early-zero-sen-pdf-e-guide.html

  21. A what if skin suggestion based on the RCAF electric jet: 414 sqn T-33 https://abpic.co.uk/pictures/view/1084580 https://www.ultracast.ca/product-p/lem48042.htm https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No._414_Squadron_RCAF#/media/File:RCAF_414_Sqn_in_felt,_1957-67.jpg I think this would look great on an A-4. Ohhhh or a Cf-5 Not sure who to ask.
  22. Thanks for the response. Sorry if I gave the impression that I was expecting implementation right away, not my intent. I was just very interested in letting people know about this as I very much like the idea that the AMD version will hopefully help older cards. I look forward to the day that I can replace my current system for reasonable prices, Dream on I know.
  23. No idea how to show this to the Devs. I've read that Vulkan will eventually happen. I just saw this video about AMD FSR(their version of DLS I guess) This sounds interesting as they say it will work with previous gen cards and Nvidia cards. If it works and is worth while, I wonder if it could help players with older hardware? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UoghWAZ_L0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMzjs85pUh4
  24. Thought that this may be of interest. I also saw a video on Gamer's Nexus where they adjusted the power to the CPU by disabling a setting in the BIOS. So does having a motherboard that is set up to go beyond the Power limits eventually do something to the lifespan of a chip or board itself? How can we trust reviews of CPUs/Motherboards, unless all have the same settings? By that I mean the CPU and MB should not have this excess power limit enabled. Cause aren't they then comparing overclocked to a possibly "stock" CPU/MB? B560 Power limits https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g3AEj3x39vQ Follow up video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKzNkWfoQyQ
