The “d” button on the x52 throttle? Which one is that and how do I use it for the differential brakes? Does it work in conjunction with the twist of the throttle to apply brakes to 1 wheel or the other? Unfortunately it doesn’t. The tm t1600m throttle does. I’m not sure about the x-45

Bought this module and haven’t even touched it yet. Worried about the taxi/wheel brake situation without pedals. My hotas is the gladiator nzt with an x52 throttle. I’m hoping one of u feel generous enough to help me figure out the best way to approach the situation. I’m a newb all around. Couple months with fc3 planes amd bought the hornet, f-16 and the spitfire for the sale that’s going on now.

Disabled smt and looked at the graph after a flight and now, unlike before, the activity is spread across all cores. it’s actually remarkably even too. It was never anything like that befor. so was it the 2.7 update or the disabling of smt? now I’m easily running a 2700x in vr with a 2080 super and all the cores pretty much hover no higher than 30-40%. glad I didn’t spring for that 5000 series ryzen!

Care to share a screenshot of your dcs and nvidia settings? got the card today and am quite impressed with my silicon. I haven’t tinkered much with the overclock, I just put it and 120 on the core and then just threw the memory slider to the right and then more and more. It acted up when I turned it to the max(1500mhz) so I took it back 100mhz and it’s been solid so far. Haven’t fully tested it with an overnight benchmark or anything but it took a few hours of dcs like a champ so cha fee are good it’s fully stable. 1400mhz on memory is the most I’ve ever seen in person. My 1080 would do 500-600.

U would be much better off with the rift s than the quest 2. It’s probably feasible(still can’t promise) but you’ll have to turn everything down probably close to all the way. The vr experience is absolutely worth it tho. I’ll take zero eye candy in vr over all the eye candy in 2d all day. Vr is just everything dcs should be. mill jever go back to 2d. Mira gonna make u want to upgrade tho so just know you’re gonna wanna spend some money

Same for me except I’m using the x52 throttle with the gladiator nxt. woulsnt mind the x56 throttle but definitely not complaining as is.

Too late. I ordered a 2080 super. Hoping it’ll do me ok. Seems like a decent upgrade from a 1080. definitly got my fingers crossed

Are u more cpu or gpu bound in vr?

We have one rift s and one quest 2. They actually belong to my kids and so do the PCs but only one is a big gamer so there’s usually a pc available for me to play on whenever I want to and the one who games has fell in love with dcs too Apts something we can do together.

I’m gonna try it and see. I figured it would bottleneck at 1080p or maybe 1440p but at be resolutions I figured I’d still be gpu bound. I’m gonna definitely find out. If I’m cpu bound I’ll probably try to get my hands on a 5600x. Luckily I can use the same mobo/ram so it’ll just be a cpu purchase Which i7 is 2.3? I’m not very familiar with intel with their naming schemes. It gets complicated lol Which headset do u use?
