  1. You can play the User Created Multiplayer Missions by creating a LAN server that you can password and play the mission by yourself.
  2. I think he means engaging PAC stabilization via the first trigger detent press, just like you do for a GAU 8 run.
  3. The HUD's TDC is a small square box, the TGP's TDC is a small diamond. Depending on which is SOI, pressing your assigned HOTAS Slew controls will either move the square or the diamond in the HUD.
  4. From the FAQ Sticky at the top of this forum: "Q: Does DCS: A-10C use all cores on my CPU? A: Not fully. It does include the new sound engine which operates in a separate thread, and does take advantage of some DirectX threading features when running on Windows Vista or 7."
  5. hreich, you cut and pasted from my Tutorial on Coordinate Entry. Using others work verbatim without giving credit is bad form. And then to call it your tips and tricks document... At least state in your PDF that this is a condensation of WarrorX's Tutorial....and then a link to the original document. I put a lot of hard work in those Tutorials, and I would hope you would understand my request. Please address this.
  6. Reference thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=68126&highlight=GBU+12
  7. I personally do not use the Autolase function, I prefer lasing myself. Make sure you see the flashing L in the TGP when you hit the NWS button, and try not to fly as to mask the target from the TGP
  8. Welcome Slambo, and cquail to the Forums! To add on to cquail's post, in the earlier versions the Latch Function in the TGP CNTL page was set to Latch ON by default. It is now set to Latch OFF by default. To access the Latch ON/OFF go to the TGP and switch to A-G Mode, and then hit OSB 1 for CNTL and it will bring up the Control Page. At OSB 8 you will see LATCH OFF, press OSB 8 to switch it to LATCH ON. The Latch Function basically toggles the pressing of the Nose Wheel Steering Button (Insert Key) from acting like a toggle switch when set to ON, and an active only when held button when set to Latch OFF. Latch ON =When you press the NWS button the laser fires, and keeps firing until you press the NWS button again. Latch OFF= When you press the NWS button the laser fires, but stops firing when you release the NWS button. So to sum it up, drop in CCRP Mode, the higher the altitude the better (>10K), and watch the Time To Impact TTI counter in the HUD left side under Airspeed, and when it reaches 12-10 seconds until impact, press the NWS button and lase the target until impact. Hope this helps.
  9. I have been looking for that little S.O.B. for a while....Thank you!
  10. Where is the AOA vane on the airframe?
  11. Oh and remember nickmow, that you need to run the CH Control Manager again and load that profile after each reboot of your machine. It will not automatically load up by itself.
  12. Glad to help. Here is what I did with my CH MFP for the UFC. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1048445&postcount=4
  13. It's not your fault, I was not clear..sorry. Glad you got it sorted out. Good Hunting!
  14. hi nickmow, I have just your answer, as I did the very same thing with my CH MFP's before I got Helios. You need to go into the CH Control Manager software and make each button a Direct X button. Once all your CH MFP buttons are assigned as a Direct X joystick button, then save and load that profile in the CH Control Manager. (you will hear windows, acknowledge the creation and recognition of of your CH MFP as a new controller) Now, open up DCS A-10C and go into controls and you will now see a column with the CH identifier. Choose what control you want mapped to each button and assign them as usual.
  15. I'm sorry you are having problems Chris, but do you think this is a fair or accurate statement? The product does not work perfectly, but it does work for the majority of users. I'm sure it is just the frustration talking, which I understand. Again, sorry to hear you are having a bad experience.
  16. There are 3 checkboxes for each command in a profile. One of the checkboxes reads "Trap". This will "trap" the key so that it will only respond for TrackIR.
  17. Try checking the box that says "Exclusive"...This will load the profile you choose every time you start TIR. This means you loose the dynamic switching from one game profile to the next automatically, but it keeps your chosen profile's parameters loaded.
  18. I was not sure...so listen to nomdeplume, he is on the ball.
  19. Shootist, I put this vid together back in Beta 2 or 3 just to show the preset's work, but it should show you the basic steps for getting the comms going. Let me know if you have any problems, and I will be glad to help out.
  20. I dont mind...that is a great option.....thank you.
  21. Looks great Cibit!!, the only notable things are letting you know that the Radio 1/2/3 function inside the frequency box is for you to circle either Radio 1 or 2 or 3 so you know which radio you are putting that frequency in. So using your MDC as an example, you would circle 1 for TOWER, TANKER, AWACS, and GUARD as all those freq's go in the #1 radio VHF AM. The only one left is FLIGHT, and for that one you circle the 2, as it's freq is going in the UHF Radio. I may be reading it wrong, but your rotate speed of 270 seems quite fast. Other that that, your all good.
  22. I thought the input on the UFC would be 06 instead of 6, then hit the OSB for the slew speed.
  23. Always glad to help Griffin! Welcome to the Forums!
  24. Well Temphage, I am beginning to see a pattern here...yesterday it was the thread on Future Maps and your griefing there, and today you picked the training to grief on. What will it be tomorrow?
  25. Yo-Yo, are you referring to the behavior of engine flame out due to rapidly pulling the throttles back to idle? I used to suffer from it when in a dive and thought I could chop the throttles and keep my dive speed down. After 5 or so flame out's and some successful gliding engine restarts, I ended that habit. Now I try to mange my energy going into the dive, but am now more comfortable and more appreciative of the higher energy when I come off the dive.
