  1. I am going to pre-order as soon as some good first YouTube videos about the Hind will arrive (for example from Rakuzard or GrimReapers) to have a good sneak-peek of one will get after buying, how the flight model is, details about the cockpit quality and cockpit illumination at night and so on. But I am sure this helicopter will become absolutely great and super impressive.
  2. I personally do quicker rather simplified start-up procedures almost all of the time. As absolutely precious and wonderful it is seeing every electrical system, circuit, hydraulics plus all these superdetailed systems having a test-switch-setting-function, for the pure sake of flying it makes not really any sense clicking some system test buttons hidden deep in the back of the cockpit because it is impossible to look at the warning light announciater panel in the front of the cockpit at the same to see if these complex and detailed system tests are really working and lighting up some verification panels somewhere else far away. But one can surely keep a button pressed to it`s SYSTEM TEST setting in VR while the camera can be panned to a different cockpit view angle at the same time with headtracking These system tests are more for super-immersive hyperrealistic 3D VR cockpit experience.
  3. Hi, it took me a few days to create this textures with endless details and layers in Gimp and Photoshop, and I think it looks absolute gorgeous and therefore I just wanted to make other people happy by sharing it, to make other virtual pilots enjoy this nice cockpit without any intentions to get money or "likes" or fame or whatever other modders want for example on the "Nexus" mod website. I just wanted to be nice and give everyone the chance to enjoy this great cockpit and to enjoy the fantastic Hornet to it`s fullest. If you want please tell me in details why my cockpit Hornet Nest upload was deleted (there is no user "Peter Keur" active as member in this forum, so how did he manage to enforce deleting the whole cockpit repaint? Was one of his files in the upload - I mixed and overworked countless various textures. If yes I am sorry.) Thanks and kind regards, JetCat
  4. Hi Pilots, Has anyone this problem too? Every landing goes smooth and almost perfect, the aircraft is smoothly and perfectly rolling down the runway after touchdown - but as soon as the aircraft starts to brake, it begins erratically yawing to the left or right side and crashes outside the runway seconds later. The rudder is not giving enough counterforce against how strong the brakes are pulling the aircraft to the left or right side when typing the W button, and almost after all landings the plane is already crashed before switching to nose wheel steering ~70 knots. Almost all of my landings end with a crash because of this problem. Flight Simulator 2020 behaves differently and the plane keeps going straight down the runway without erratically yawing left or ride until it drifts almost sideways and overturns to the roof seconds after the brakes are engaged in the highest realism/difficulty settings. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug of the DCS braking simulation? Here are screenshots of the latest two landings on Area 51, it was a test if this problem when braking occurs in every airplane. Yes it does.
  5. Hello pilots, I have noticed that when flying the training missions with the Heatblur F-14 Tomcat, that almost all parked Tomcats have no wings at all. And there is one misplaced Tomcat standing in a strange position in the "Launch on a carrier" training mission with no wings and one wheel positioned outside the aircraft carrier`s top surface. This bug breaks the immersion in such a wonderful plane so I would be very happy if Heatblur could fix this bug Happy flights and good landings!
  6. Hi pilots This is not about an input bug of the F-16 but about a problem of how all computer joysticks are designed. I hate it with how much force these centering-springs in all joysticks are pressing against my steering inputs. There are no non-self-centering joysticks with a smooooooth-going hydraulic cylinders to simulate some slight resistance instead of using some cheap stupid way to stiff feather underneath available on the market. All the joysticks on the market no matter how expensive, use an absolute uncomfortable and very tiring super-stiff spring. A way to strong force and pressure is therefore constantly working against the hand, which is very tiresome and is not giving a realistic flight feeling for the Airbus A320 (Flight Simulator) and the F-16 (DCS). I have a nice little trick for you which will absolutely enhance your flight experience. With a cable tie you can make this small modification on your joystick (in my case a cheap but nicely looking Mad Catz I got on eBay), and wow I absolutely love it - impressive new flight feeling! Absolute precise maneuvering of the F-16 is now possible with having the pressure of this annoying self-centering spring reduced to 10%. This is TRUE FLYING (instead of constantly combating a spring so stiff that half of the time when not pressing the joystick down to the table I was moving the joystick`s ground plate stand around instead of moving the stick itself.) If you have this problem too, or want to fly helicopters (for example the new oncoming fantastic Hind D or K-50 Hokum) and therefore also can`t stand these superstiff ulstra-strong self-centering springs all joysticks have - just grab two cable ties and do the same I did on the pictures, and enjoy your new and absolutely enhanced flight feeling:

  7. Please re-upload, the two JASDF F-16 paintings with cherry blossoms and a grim reaper on the rudder look superb but I want an F-18 in a similar camouflage paint
  8. Hi, I am very proud to have my "F" collection finally finished, and now own F-14, F-16, and the F-18 Hornet. Lovely to fly and so much attention to detail! All models have almost the same quality and perfection inside the cockpit and outside - but there is one thing that I absolutely appreciate on the F-16 and F-18 (and almost all other planes in DCS have this feature too) and this is the spinning low pressure turbine ring in the rear nozzle of the engine exhaust which drives the N1 shaft. I am especially interested in airplane technology engineering and turbines, that`s why having such superb ultra-realistic planes with utmost attention to detail is so special and satisfying. The F-14 is a fantastic addition to my collection with a gorgeous cockpit, but it is missing this interesting engine detail feature: Behind the exhaust nozzle is only a low-quality and static texture, but no animated low pressure turbine. To bring the superb F-14 to absolute perfection and next-level quality like the F-16 and F-18 I would recommend the developers to add an animated spinning engine exhaust turbine wheel like all other DCS planes have. Thanks for reading (two pictures for engine exhaust detail comparison, both ED F-16 and Heatblur F-14 use the same General Electric F110 engine)
