Hi there!
I would really like to get involved with you guys. I am looking for a casual/fun simming community.
I'm an experienced flier and have been playing flight sims since F117A Nighthawk :D
It might be cool to make the games aware of each others installations, so they can shell another game should wish to switch, from the main menu perhaps.
I didn't vote.
I'm not fussed about the P51D, in my opinion there are lots more interesting planes they could of done, but, it adds to the DCS universe, so it's a good thing. If not to everyones tastes.
My tip would be, relax and take your time!
Don't keep flying over the waypoint where the enemies are, instead, hang around 7 to 10 miles away and do a very loose orbit of the area if it's safe to do so. Use the autopilots altitude hold setting so you can set the aircraft in a wide anti-clockwise turn. Then use the TGP to scan for targets.
I know the next one is going to be fixed wing, and american but I would love to see the Westland Lynx helicopter and possibly the Gazelle recon chopper too! That would be great fun.
Ok thanks!
I was under the impression in auto mode it will dispense according to the settings you have given it. Fair enough :)
I'll take a look at the manual
I'm a little confused about the counter-measures programming.
I want to set flares to pop 5 every 2 seconds. But I can't seem to make it work. Each time it just spams all my flares when im fired upon. Same goes for chaff.
Is there a quick guide to this? Also what would be a good setting for this? I usually use the system in Auto mode too.
Ok. I guess the disc is around somewhere. I never bought FC2 but would be interested in 3. Having A10C, Black Shark and FC3 aircraft in the same mp game would be amazing.
So, I made a mix. House Music. Influenced by the 70s funk/disco era (I've been doing this sort of thing for 12 years or so).

This isn't a mission building question...
I've been playing a lot of single player and in certain situations theres a scripted even which shows a message in the top right part of the screen, ususally with co-ordinates of the next target or whatnot.
Problem is, this message doesn't stay on screen very long so I don't have time to input the information into the CDU, is there a way to bring the message back up?
Hmm, I only switch on AC Gen when the engines are fully spooled up? Then I turn off APU Gen and the APU itself. Get a beeping tone until I switch off APU Gen though. Not sure if thats right?
