  1. I did open the support ticket with ED, and ED support was trying to tell how to make the full screen without ALT+ENTER and closed this ticket at the end
  2. Wow... cool, thanks a lot.
  3. Finally, thank @BIGNEWY for updating...
  4. I think that the impact is on the OS side (especially CPU and I/O to handle uncompressing), and DCS is just waiting the data to be loaded in, isn't it?
  5. @Karon I have checked your Youtube and I am very appreciate the analysis. So, it sounds ED has a long way to go then... I thought ED would have a new missile module that will address the most of the current issues, isn't it?
  6. Recently, I took my tomcat at the attitude between 40k to 45k and shot AIM-54C-60s to the enemies in the range 50nm-60nm, it was a quite different experience to bring the enemy planes down.
  7. It is so good that we got tons of enhancements and quite positive feedbacks.... Just wondering when these enhancements will be available for the next ST? End of July :-)? Thanks.
  8. Ops.... my mind was 7/12... thanks....
  9. It is so quite about for the DCS releases for July. Are we planning to have an update for OB or/and ST soon? Thanks.
  10. How about the warning light for flaps? Hope it is not broken... after landing.
  11. I am kind of agreeing that tomcat does have the modern weapons likes F-15/F-16/F-18/others have... However, I get lots of fun playing it in MP and I feel that it is a amazing aircraft beside lacking modern weapons (I just accept the fact, hope we have F-14D/St-21 one day).
  12. I think that DCS is the user application software, in order to communicate the hardware components through APIs by OS kernel to the device drivers. A software may have a bug and that causes the execution in logic state which is out the developer expectation. Beside that, OS kernel has certain protections to against it unless a device driver has the serious issue of communicating the hardware (or firmware update). The lower lifespan (not due to hardware failure) for the PC because of the user application is required better performance in order to render overall but not the application bugs in general. I will not worry about the bugs in DCS because none of all software is totally bug free... The matter is that how bug can be fixed.
  13. The AFCS panel (2nd photo) is taken from the HB manual for the demo purpose (due to copyright from https://heatblur.se/F-14Manual/cockpit.html#afcs-control-panel) with the label 4 to 7. My throttle autopilot photo (1st) provided. For the button 7, I use Autopolit on, else Off to control. Press 1st time to engage autopilot, presss 2nd for disengage it (and disengage 6 and 5 if either one is on). The mouse click will be remembered for the current state, and the button 7 click will go in either engage or disengage (the sequence will not be messed up). Hope it helps.
  14. Well, it is a good question since Tomcat does not have MFDs unlike F-16/F-18/AH-64D/F-15E (I think). My opinion, one single key biding press will save lots of time compare with clicking the keyboard combo keys especially in the combat mode, but it is required muscle memory for a function per a button. For my setting, I leave the major functions on Warthog throttle and joystick because they are always easy to be reach in all of time (yes, I do use the autopilot functions since they are already available with throttle). I do have use "Total control systems" multi-fucntion box to off load other "secondary" controls (I feel), for example VID/TID switching and dimmable, kneeboard and prev/next, open ACM cover/jetting stuff, controlling cockpit lighting in the night mission/night goggle/flashlight, canopy closing/opeing, etc. Again, these functions can be setup with the 25 buttons whatever feel right and easy access when needed. The polit and RIO key bindings can be different.
  15. Thanks for all posts. The advantage about F-15EX is to carry more AA missiles compared with F-15E. Therefore, I think (hope I am right) that F-15EX is still good for BVR or WVR but not for dogflight. Will Razbam extend F-15E project to F-15EX? it will be great ....
  16. Yes, it is correct. Wish (hope?) the same treatment will be implemented in MT.
  17. Well, this is occurred to MT for now, and non-MT (single thread) is still working perfectly as today. I am not sure that ED will remove the single thread version eventually... if yes, it is very sad ....
  18. Hi @Boosterdog, sorry... I mean that does @audiodistortion suggestion work for your DCS? It does not work for me unfortunately, and I still need ALT-ENTER Thanks!
  19. @Boosterdogdoes it work for me I am just wondering? Thanks.
  20. @audiodistortionThanks for the confirmation. I agree that the DCS display resolution must be same with the screen size, and clicking the loading box to ensure the DCS main dialog shows on the desired monitor (in my cause, I have two monitors and I want the DCS main page shows on the big/extended monitor instead of my small main monitor).
  21. Thanks for all replies to explain in short. It sounds F-15E just stays BVR (maybe WVR) but not dogfight because it is a weapon truck, it maybe needs other companies (likes F-16, F-35, F-22) to perform CAS?!
  22. A dumb question: Which model C or E provides a better dogfight?
  23. it does not work for me, and I am wondering that "system->resolution" must be set the same screen size or not.
  24. @BIGNEWY I am wondering that will ED release the stable version soon for F-15E and Sinai map? Thanks.
  25. Sorry to hear it... and I guess steam did not calculate the price correctly (hope). And, thanks for sharing info.
