My guess (fueled by hope) is a release in the first half of 2024. I have watched numerous videos that are three years old or older. The flight model and the exterior 3D model looked very impressive for that time and appeared to be almost ready for release. Unfortunately, the small team faced a setback when they lost their only coder due to serious medical conditions. As a result, other coders had to start from scratch, possibly building on whatever had already been created. Additionally, the flight model has been submitted to ED for approval, which is always a positive sign. Furthermore, Polychop is a German company, and they are known for their effectiveness. Hence, the joke: How many Germans does it take to change a lightbulb? One. They are effective and don't like humor.

Hello there, I recently bought the MiG-21 after a friend „forced“ me to do it and I surprisingly fell in love with it. Unfortunately I noticed that there is very few content for the Fishbed in the user file section and so I stumbled about this campaign. I haven’t found any reviews about this campaign and there’s not much YouTube content either. So I like to ask all you lovely people here: How is it? Did you enjoy it? I am also a bit afraid of the amount of missions… how long are these? Thanks for your replies I’m advance.

The description says it all. When I bind the Nav FLIR function to STBY/OFF/ON and ON/OFF/STBY to my Virpil CM3 Throttle, the up and down movement of the switch don't work. If I bind it directly to STBY, OFF or ON the switch moved to the given state.

G’day fellow pilots, I finally made it to mission 10 and after I read the briefing and took a look in the mission planer I wondered on how it is intended to deploy the GBU-10s. It seems obvious that you don’t drop them from 500 feet, but what’s the plan here? Should I toss them or should I climb to 8.000 feet and make a normal drop? If someone has any experience on this and is able to help, that would be very much appreciated. BTW I made a video series in german. If you are interested please check out my playlist

As I'm learning the Viper right now I always start with the basics (Start up, landing, aerial refueling). So here's me third attempt with the Viper from the included mission.

I just flew Mission 11 and with a litte help from the editor I was able to took out every SCUD Launcher (including the ones that where hidden under the tents), but I only got a score of 85. I even shot down the helicopter... Where's the trick to get a score of 100? [edit] The "stranded SCUD" did not spawn. What's the trigger?

Made it today! Even took out the ZU-23 with a MK-82

I will try it that way. But there was a ZSU where the the Humvees got into an ambush (got prove). Shouldn’t it to be so?

First of all I must say that I really love this campaign. This is exactly what I like to do with the A-10, it comes with a high amount of realism. Unfortuneately the realism comes at a high price, difficulty. Although the difficulty certainly makes me a better (virtual) I tried this mission now for... I don't know many times. First Task I set up an IP waypoint and a TGT waypoint for the BRD an try to get that little bugger with an IR Maverick. But this really a pain in the <beep> because this damn Mav locks everything up, except for the BRD and because I'm not able to kill this bastard the attack window closes and people are going to die, which is not acceptable. Second/third Task The one case I made it to the second task I took out both T-72 with GBU-12. But got shot down by a ZSU-23 while helping my troops on the ground. On the next try I'm trying to take out the BRDM with a GBU-12, T-72s with IR MAVs and the ZSU-23 with the second GBU-12. Maybe I'm using the MK-82s for ground support. If anyone has more tipps I would really appreciate it. It starts getting frustrated...

The last times I used the ATHS via the F10 Map marks, I did not need a throwaway label. It always worked fine for me

Speaking off… I noticed that you always use a blank between a word a question/exclamation mark. This not right, because you are not doing this when you end a sentence with a dot. BTW one exclamation mark is enough Also after Mission one (I believe) someone was saying "How could we have missed this." Hence this is a question it should end with a question mark.

That said, in Mission 14 of your Oil in the water campaign (which is fantastic) the players hornet is equipped with a LITENING pod

Sorry to say, but this is not a Case 1 practice mission. It’s rather "practice to put your hornet on the carrier" mission. For a real Case 1 practice mission I recommend Bankler's CASE 1 Recovery Trainer.

First of all I have to say that I bought the campaign without knewing what awaits me. I just bought it because it's from BD so it has to be good After reading that I have to plan the mssions for and my squadron I was rather like... So I'm not 100% sure if it is my cup of tea, but after competing the missions 1 and 2 I think I can get use to it. So back to topic. In mission 2 I stuck to the recommendation to assign Fish and Trigger for CAP and Hooters and Pickles for SEAD. Because of an "unofficial incident" (got shot down) I knew there only SA-9 and ZSU-23 present. So I didn't give Hooters and Pickles HARMs but AGM-65F. While Fish and Trigger did a great job, Hooters and Pickles just stayed in orbit and didn't go for the task. Did I something wrong or is it coding issue?

I tried the mission probably for the thirteenths time or so and I always get shot down. Either I shoot down the strikers and got shot down by one of the escorts or I shoot down one escort and then got shot by the second escort. Once I was in a dogfight with a Mig-29 and the Oil platforms where destroyed. I always tell my Wingman to attack the escorts, but he rarely shoot any of them down. I managed it twice to make it to the "grand slam" communication but in this case I'm out of missles and have to fight two F-14s with AM-54c. I skipped the mission for now, but I want to finish it successfully. Any tips are wellcome.

I stumble about this problem from time to time, always when you have to trigger messages. Binding this to another key should do the trick.

This question is hard to answer, because it totally depends on your preference and the module you’re flying. The Constellation Alpha Grip is probably one of the most versatile grips VPC has to offer, but tends more to be a space sim stick. Lately I’m flying the F-14 a lot, so I went for the VPX and I’m very happy with it and can totally recommend that stick, but tbo it’s only really good if you fly the Tomcat. The WarBRD Stick seems also to be a good aground solution but only has very few buttons compared the Warthog stick. If you have enough buttons on your throttle you should be fine, otherwise this can be a bummer. I tried my best here to help, but after all, it’s up to you

Thanks for your work I always enjoy these kind of missions. But... I use this mission to train the Case 1 with the Tomcat and I find it a bit irritating that you don't start 10 nm behind the boat but 8.1 nm according to TACAN. Also unfortunatley ATC frequency and TACAN are not set. So i have to tell Jester to set it all up or either doing that myself, keeping the jet in the air and after that setting the wings to 68° and trimming. These are a lot of things to do within 8.1 nm At the moment I use active pause to set everything up. Maybe editing the given planes with the correct frquency and TACAN would be a great help.
