  1. Just do dcs.exe --server --norender -w <instance_name> DCS will create a folder in your Saved Games directory for each instance. You can tweak the settings for the server there.
  2. C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\serverSettings.lua
  3. Yes, both instances are running on the same account. And I can use my gaming PC (also on the same account) to log in and play.
  4. If you're running with --server --norender then all you will see is the DCS splash screen. Don't know about the crash, probably worth posting logs.
  5. I have 2 instances running on the same server, each instance is using ~ 15% CPU and 4GB of RAM. A BIG improvement from before.
  6. What Cap'n kamikaze doesn't seem to realise is that he waived any 'rights' to 'timely' updates and 'progress' when he signed up for the Early Access. ED haven't promised anything around timelines, so to be upset when things are moving slowly is just daft. If The F18 was a finished product, that would be a different matter.
  7. Until the whiners in the community fully understand what Early Access means, this argument will go on forever. The idiots want the latest and greatest, spend their money and complain that ED have delivered an unfinished product. It makes my brain hurt. If you want the full, finished product, wait for it to be FINISHED. Don't be buying Early Access. You'll just be disappointed and we'll all have to deal with your incessant complaints on Facebook, and these forums.
  8. DCS_updater.exe update 2.5.2.20601@openbeta
  9. Is it the screen or the image that jiggles? Are you getting warping due to ASW? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Absolutely no call to insult me. But here's some advice. ** Your throttle may not be working because you need to move the throttles over the Detent. Check your bindings. If your Hotas doesn't have a detent, then the throttles in game won't move until you move them over the detent. Try R-ALT+HOME and R-CTRL+HOME. ** Go read the manual.
  11. We've had this conversation before... Go educate yourself on what you've bought into. This is EARLY ACCESS. This aircraft is a long way from being complete. If you're not happy about it, that is entirely your fault. Do your research about what you're getting before you log in here and complain about it. ** Your throttle may not be working because you need to move the throttles over the Detent. 12. I thought it was just me, but yes I have seen the same issue. Maybe that's how it is in the real Hornet? Seems you need to press the buttons for half a second or more when doing On/Off or Enter.
  13. I can report the same issue. It's not game-breaking for me, but my FPS in the F18 pit are significantly worse than other modules. It does seem to improve when I'm out over the ocean or away from an airfield.
  14. Yeah, what Pimp said. I was pretty green when I first flew with mine. Took a couple of weeks to acclimatise to it. Take plenty of breaks and stop before you feel really ill..!
  15. Said about what? There's an update coming. They'll tell us when it's ready. What is this shitshow to which you refer?
  16. Can you describe your problem in more detail?
  17. Might be helpful if you posted a log file?
  18. What on Earth makes you suspect that??
  19. This guy wasn't asking for help. If he had been, I guarantee my response would have been different. He took the time to post on the forum to complain when he clearly hadn't done his research. Ask before your buy, and you'll get all the help you need on this forum.
  20. Yep, you’ll be good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Haha, calm yourself mate. Deep breaths. This guy went and spent his $$ on a new map, which he seems to know nothing about. Not sure why I should help him after the fact. Before purchase, for sure, happy to help! But to come here and have a whinge about "a SMALL area which is USELESS for any in depth missions" clearly shows he did no research into what he was buying. His fault, entirely.
  22. Same issue here. I suspect it's a problem with ED...
