For the life of me I can’t inderstand why someone wouldn’t want the sun to mirror real life moon settings.
Night lighting isn’t perfect but it’s much better in the Persian Gulf map than it’s been in NTTR since deferred shading was introduced.
I’ll be developing a FLIP for the map like i did for Georgia, Russia and Nevada. Have to build them from scratch so it’ll likely be a few weeks until the first release.
All the charts are specific to DCS world. The Nevada charts that are included in game, last i checked, weren’t accurate (airfield elevations, runway headings) to what we have in DCS World.
Not as likely, the real world Nevada charts were publically available not so much for many of the airports in the new map.
I don’t know of anything public specific for the engines.
Technically it shouldn’t be public if you read the distribution statement on the cover. ;). It’s just so outdated (avionics wise not aircraft performance) no one cares.
Not 20 minutes.
Early videos also said you could change and engine in 8 hours. The best I’ve ever personally seen an engine changed was 14 from start to finish to include engine trim and ops checks.
Flying tonight with one harrier in the misison and three A-10C's about 1 hour into the mission (1:15 in my twitch video linked here) you can see initially the A-10 closest to me appear to bounce up and down (not doe to flight control input) then it appears to bank (1:18 ). Verified the other individuals saw the same thing. As soon as I got out of the Harrier and into an A-10 everything seemed to be okay.
Track file was to big to add as an attachment, uploaded to my google drive here.
