As someone who has run A-10 APU and engines in real life with double ear protection you can’t hear them. But you have the physical feedback in the real world that we don’t in the sim. So I’m fine with the exaggerated sounds in the sim.

Which sucks. Yes you wouldn’t air refuel basket and boom at the same time but you can use the boom or baskets on the real one.

Works fine if you have it installed into saved games folder.

Speak for yourself. A suite upgrade is almost certain to not happening but I’d pay an upgrade fee for suite 7 plus or higher. As to the hope for an MDC planner option, ED said they weren’t doing it for the Hornet so you can bet they won’t do it for the A-10C

A suite is way more than just a different TGP

ECM and TGP aren’t loaded on the same size primarily due to weight.

That’s not a combat loadout though, they’re ferrying the pods. We did the same thing with a jet after Hawgsmoke this year.

If Kandahar isn’t included I won’t purchase the map. Kandahar Has been one of the main places we’ve deployed to with A-10s and they’re there now.

ED changed the names of the MFCDS for export. I’m not at home but fixed it on mine. ADDED I changed it to "LEFT_MFCD" and "RIGHT_MFCD" in the monitor setup lua I use.

Track, video, any evidence besides your statement? If not ED won't look into it until they have those things.

No issues with this mod or Rangers with 2.5.4. Do you have them installed in your saved games, Mods/tech folder?

Outside of the cockpit 3d model I’m happy with the A-10C model. Yeah if we someday got an upgrade to suite 7 (or higher) some things would need to be added (LARS antennas) or removed (pave penny and pylon) but again we’re very unlikely to get those. New cockpit model with the option to turn the pilots body on/off and I’m happy.

I saw messed up taxi lines when the map was first introduced, but it is a lot worse now than when initially released. Ironically similar issues with taxiway lines at Nellis happened when they pushed the update that introduced all the new airports, so it's a trend. Anyways, this is what I see now (and many other areas have similar issues around Al Dhafra).

That’s not exactly true either. It’s a hybrid of suite 3 and 5.

I stopped trying to keep post one updated due to Razbams infrequent communication in when systems are implemented and the issue that things were implemented but not completely finished. Personally I’d be okay if this thread was deleted.

Any plans to fix the taxi lines at Al Dhafra? They look like whoever painted them was drunk and IMO kills an otherwise outstanding representation of the base.

That is incorrect, HMCS wasn’t a thing when DCS A-10C was released. The reason we won’t get HMCS is because it was added to the real a-10C in a later suite than we have in the simulator and ED doesn’t plan to update the A-10C.
