  1. The actuator fails, disconnects the canopy from the actuator so it can be manually opened.

  3. I give up. Believe what you will I’m telling you from real world experience. And ED isn’t going to do it, for the third time the A-10C has been feature complete for years.
  4. Did you read “feature complete?” They didn’t use it then either, not in combat anyways. PS....suite 7+ is old, were on suite 8 now.
  5. Yes it was still installed and usable but our pilots didn’t use it and I wouldn’t expect it. The A-10C as we have it right now is feature complete.

  7. Nice....Baxter and I made the weekend news header in our 476 vFG, 422d VTES Harrier skins doing a little test and evaluation sortie. Good thing our attempts at vertical landings weren’t made public. :D
  8. Please only as an option. I love realism but having to interact with a mouse this is one aspect I don’t care for.

  14. :huh:....Marines don't fly A-10s :doh: I can't find anything specific in the 2-1-1 but in another real world training document (and I can't share with anyone or ED) part of the ILS approach verbage states that you must dial in the localizer course using the HSI Course set know and select the ILS button the NMSP. I take this to mean it is modeled correctly in DCS A-10C. A-10C LIDS Check. L(ocalizer station); select ILS on NMSP and ensure correct frequency on ILS control panel, tune, identify, and monitor I(inbound course); Set course using HSI course knob D(ME); set for localizer S(low); to final approach speed

  17. I’m reading through the ILS portion of the C-2-1-1 now and post what i find later this evening. But ED won’t change things based on interviews either.
  18. So who has shared A-10C specific documentation to say it is 100% wrong? All I see is people saying it works a different way in aircraft x, y, and z. ED isn’t going to change anything unless they have specific A-10C documentation. Not saying y’all are wrong but I have been digging through A-10 tech orders and can’t find anything one way or another.

    Refuel prob

    It leaves the probe extended and pressurized the fuel tanks. This is per the AV-8B NOTAP manual.
  20. I don’t believe it does, can’t find a mention in the NOTAP manual. And as a reminder PLEASE only post in this thread if I missed listing a missing feature or miss updating the list when a feature is added. Questions/wishes/bugs should be posted in another thread. Thanks!
