  1. Thrust on an A-10C is exactly the same as an A-10A. The C model upgrade did NOTHING to the engines.
  2. Vanilla A-10As couldn’t carry any TGP. The A-10A+ could but I never touched one of those, IIrC they were only ANG and Reserve jets and I never touched or saw one. https://www.defenseindustrydaily.com/kicked-up-hogs-the-a-10a-program-04217/
  3. So your earlier post was about in combat and not in general. Otherwise I’m not sure what you’re getting at.
  4. Was actually earlier than that, here at moody at least.
  5. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE have Incirlik AB, Turkey in the Syrian Map!
  6. IIRC it could but that was a long time ago.
  7. Hmm....must be the minority because everyone in the 476th is looking forward to this (and future) maps.
  8. Lots of incorrect stuff in your post, not sure where you're getting your data from. Brimstone: not on the A-10C JHMQS: Nope, it's HMCS on the A-10C and it's completely different than whats on other fighters. Evolved JDAM (V) laser augmented GPS weapon: I guess you mean GBU-54? GBU-39 SDB: not on the A-10C And what do you mean match aircraft lights to RW? I'd love, and happily pay, for a suite 7 plus (or later) version of the A-10C but I highly doubt we'll ever see it.
  9. Your timeline is off slightly.
  10. When will cockpit shadows be fixed so you don’t need console lighting on during the day? Completely unrealistic to need that on a sunny day.
  11. Bad example because we had as recent as the start of the second Iraq war.
  12. As is your right. But without standards (aka you gotta meet minimum requirements to be a 3rd party dev) you’ll only get confusion and mediocre early access releases. And for clarification I am not saying the Harrier is mediocre, although IMO it appears that development is slowed to a snales pace.
  13. I think the point they are trying to make is a product that isn’t even released in early access has many more items completed over something that has been in early alpha for a long time. Regardless of who is developing the airframe. Personally I think ED should have requirements for minimum systems being modeled (cough cough radios) prior to something being released as early alpha. Me too
  14. Yup, as well as being able to manually input frequencies.
  15. Map usable size comparison. Caucuses black area includes the Black Sea. I used the same 40 mile ruler to scale the maps (Persian Gulf used screen shot from Wags stream), not scientific but gives a general idea of the map sizes. Like Wags said in his stream, they "hope" to expand the Persian Gulf map eventually.

  17. Which is exactly why Stuka built the mission and Noodle and Stuka built the range objects.
  18. You’re putting words in my mouth, that isn’t what I said. Now you’re just filling this thread with off topic discussion.
  19. As I said earlier I don’t know how to explain better than how it is written in the dash 1. Sorry if that upsets you.
  20. The dash 1 is what I linked for you earlier in this thread.
  21. Yes you’re still wrong. Not sure how to explain it better than the dash 1. Like i said earlier, if nothing is jammed both elevators will move.
  22. Page 48, 49, and 51 http://www.avialogs.com/en/aircraft/usa/fairchild/a-10thunderboltii/to-1a-10a-1-flight-manual-a-10a-aircraft.html
  23. Unless an elevator is actually jammed the shaft won't break/sheer.
  24. How is adding the schematic to the manual going to fix what is wrong? ED has the schematics, what I sent to Sith I mean NineLine was specific to the pump and what I thought finally convinced Yo-Yo what I had been saying based on experience actually operating and seeing in person how the hydraulic system on the A-10 operates.
