  1. About the forum topic, yesterday's changelog misses its version number.
  2. No. 145 GBytes installed folder size was the number in May/2024. It might / will be increased by update patches with contents addition (like more airports and more towns) , sometimes a bit decreased by optimizing. After today (Oct./2025) 's version 2.9.21 .16362 patch, Kola module installed folder size becomes 157 GBytes. And downloaded total file size is shown as 165 GBytes ( = 169246.7 MBytes ) in DCS Updater .... so +8 GBytes may copied to somewhere outside from Terrain/ Kola/ folder. I don't know where they are. In new clean installing of Kola module about version 2.9.21 .16362 , its downloading "packed file size" is 118 GBytes ( = 121058.6 MBytes ) . Here is a screenshot of DCS Updater.
  3. Perhaps ; Mission Editor cannot load ED official missions directly. Open two windows of Windows' Explorer application (or another filer app you like) , and open two folder paths --- "your user Saves Games/ DCS/ Missions/" and "DCS installed folder/ Mods/ aircraft/ aircraft module name/ Missions/ QuickStart/ " --- Copy some missions from DCS folder to your user folder. Copied missions maybe loadable by Mission Editor.
  4. Even not for a mod aircraft , I'm drawing historical liveries on ED's Yak-40. My plan for publishing date is in this October.
  5. Current DCS doesn't provide Soviet Tu-16 as an ED official ai plane. Your screenshot looks like user-mod Tu-16 published as Cold Wat Assets by tripod3. I've installed that mod and its Tu-16 doesn't have any liveries option even in version 1.2 . But mine shows generic metal body with red stars normally as its default. Your green blocks might come from the mod was broken in your user folder. DCS repair function works only for official contents, not for user-mods.
  6. Passengers skinpack 2 for A330 https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3347122/ Former B757 skinpack's current condor scheme are in Red / Blue / Orange. Today's A330 are in Yellow / Green and only tailfin Blue.
  7. In DCS version 2.9.20 .15010 , yes, the livery folder name for LAZ-695 is changed (I don't know the strict date and patch number it was done, though) . The current livery folder name is "laz bus". To solve it in users' side, Touching DCS install folder is not smart --- make a new folder under User Games tree maybe easier and compatible , until newer DCS patch will solve the problem. Temporary solution by users. Open two folders "DCS installed drive..../ DCS World/ Bazar/ Liveries/ laz-695/" and "your user name.../ Saved Games/ DCS/ Liveries". Add a new folder "laz bus" under your Saved Games/ DCS/ Liveries/ . Copy 12x subfolders in Bazar/ Liveries/ laz-695/ into Saved Games/ DCS/ Liveries/ laz bus/ . My testing is OK. After DCS future patch will fix the bug, erase the user folder Saved Games/ DCS/ Liveries/ laz bus/ .
  8. Testing DCS 2.9.20 .15010 released in this September. Tel Nof AB's slot 23-24 taxi route is only straight out. It causes RW 18, 15L, 33R takeoff time detour with runway-taxing. Left turn will solve it.
  9. Hi. This bug looks almost fixed now in version 2.9.20 .15010 patch. Only two or three slots get another new detour bug though, I'll report it in the new topic.
  10. Testing DCS 2.9.20 .15010 released in this September. Make a new clean mission on that version. When an airplane is placed on Tel Nof airbase's slot 84, it spawns 200 meters above the runway and falling down. This behavior might come from "Not connected any logical taxi routes" for that slot.
  11. Testing DCS 2.9.20 .15010 released in this September. Make a new clean mission on that version. Tel Nof airbase's HAS 25 and 26 are positioned too low for F-15C/E. Their tailfins collide with HAS gates. Other HAS slots in Tel Nof look OK about F-15 family spawning and taxing-out. Non-HAS slots there may have other bugs ---- I'll check later .... report when found.
  12. Thanks that you have interests to my works. I want to adjust each windows and doors' Height X Width sizes in the texture , also move their positions Front/Rear or Up/Down for better fitting to airlines' photos. Any handle cut lines and caution labels have to redraw. Panel lines / weathering layers are also to be retouch. I need more than 1 year for those complex tasks and I was tired to continue once. I'll retry DC-10 again , but I cannot promise until when about publishing.

  17. Apologize ... I haven't opened my PM box due to ---------- Coming more liveries for Civil Aircraft Mod (A330 and B757). Publishing schedule is planned as the end of this September. Other projects (models or skins) are not progressed. No news = No new things about mine.
  18. Hi, BrassEm. How much giga bytes do you want to reduce in uninstalling jet modules ? Each of those jet modules use 2 or 3 giga bytes. Even the four modules are uninstalled correctly, new free disk space maybe only 10 giga bytes. Those free space / used size can be checked by Windows default explorer's indicator or its folder properties. Uninstalling airplane modules is not so effective to get free disk space. Bigger disk spaces are required by terrain modules. Old terrains Nevada or Persian Gulf use around 30 giga bytes for each. Current developing terrains (Afghanistan / Iraq / Kola / CWG) use from 80 giga bytes to 160 giga bytes. Uninstalling a terrain module will give you bigger free space easily ...

  20. With today's Sinai update , new Tabuk airport has two ILS equipment for RW24 and RW13 in DCS mission-editor , but no ILS for RW13 / YES for RW31 IRL. Perhaps the wrong parameter is only direction 131 deg. about the localizer beacon. Position / offset / freq. (111.90 MHz) values maybe correct for RW31. Only changing the direction into 311 deg. ---- ok.
  21. My experience and guessing. Current (First release) QAG doesn't support any mod airplanes as not only for Player but also enemy / friendly AI ones even ERA = "All" and Country = "Joint Task Forces XXX". Perhaps that's planned feature. Btw mod vehicles or mod ships can appear as enemy targets.
  22. When SCENARIO's ERA is set "Cold War 1971-1991" , F-15E S4+ and F-4E-45MC become missed from AIRCRAFT list. "All" ERA setting is needed to use them. This behavior looks similar to Mission Editor's Historical Filter function.
  23. Start from the ground is not suitable for "Dogfight" or "BVR" missions, I see. How about "Bomber Intercept" ? No CAP air forces scramble to coming enemy bombers from HAS near the runway end.

An Essex generic scb125's livery "CV-9 USS ESSEX" folder isn't updated from 0.4.1 time. and other four ships' liveries folders (CV-14, 16, 19, 34) have each dds files but not loaded by each description.lua files. I don't know these description.lua contents (only one line "cv31_ship_registry_number" is written) are correct as planned or not. When correct one, other unloaded CV-XX Clean.dds, CV-XX OUTLINE.dds and island_signs BLACK 2.dds files are needless to be placed --- better to remove. If those one line description.lua are temporary file and planned as drawing different deck lines or tones in the future, I think better to write loading those dds files in description.lua by false flags.
