I don't know what graphics editor application jack333 is using or each texture files' internal formats (and their three letters filename extensions) ... How about Color Space mismatching trouble ? When BMP or PNG is chosen as exporting graphics format, results may be changed in keeping or discarding Color Space information. TGA or DDS (DCS's default format) might not have Color Space information and no difference after exported by applications.

Hi. Your log shows that Windows' Pagefile is only 9064 MB. When main RAM is 64GB, Pagefile may need at least 32768 MB (or 65536 MB when possible) for DCS.
-
reported here as a terrain mesh bug ?
-
I've reproduced it. Not only C-130, perhaps all AI airplanes (I test C-130 and F-16CM) may crash into the mountain on 69-56'33"N / 23-31'55"E / 458 meters altitude in straight approaching Alta RW 29. This terrain mesh is correct in comparing with Google Earth , and Norway official chart warns this mountain as obstacles around Alta. Straight-In RW 29 maybe impossible, circling approach is needed. Map module side AI flight route (or rule) tweaking is needed ?

Ground Textures and F10 Map Not Loading in Singleplayer
western_JPN replied to Tormenscup's topic in Bugs and Problems
CW Germany module requires 32 gigabytes main RAM. 16 gigabytes is too small for it. When your PC has 32 GB or bigger RAM, check Windows' Page File setting. DCS needs manual value input for enough Page File size. Windows' default automatic assignment doesn't work well with DCS World. -
Unable to land helicopter on hospital west of peenemunde
western_JPN replied to Bartek16194's topic in Bugs and Problems
Nice landing ! A bit off topic, outside from Germany .... A hospital having two helipads (in detailed, one helipad on the roof and one heliport on the ground) exists in 2020s Japan. When one helicopter is in refueling or maintenance on the ground heliport, another helicopter can do embarking on the roof helipad. -
and Briest bug is reported there

Unable to land helicopter on hospital west of peenemunde
western_JPN replied to Bartek16194's topic in Bugs and Problems
umm ... the red cross paint and night lightings on the top roof of the hospital building are common signs as a helipad. If that top roof doesn't have a helipad function, its texture should be retouch to erase the red cross and lightings should be removed. When the ground helipad is painted with red cross or white cross (like "H Med FRG01") , helo pilots can see there is a hospital. -
Tempelhof: AI helos fly into terminal building
western_JPN replied to Nealius's topic in Bugs and Problems
Agreed. Easy to reproduce. Starting on slot 26 and its first waypoint is north from Tempelhof, then ... uh1h_aiTO_templhof2nw_cwger_20250426.miz -
I guess PC's main memory is less than 32 gigabytes ... or if it's enough Windows' Page File size setting is too small ? (Default Automatic assign behaves such in DCS)
-
Yes. I've checked F-4E in Airplane and CH-47F in Helicopter lists are disappeared by Historical Filter ON + 1999 mission year.

From each files' timestamps retouch in the latest updating ... -DCS World/ root folder +- Sounds.edce --- 3 GB +Mods/ F-5E 2024/ folder --+ Cockpit/ Textures/ folder 800 MB --+ Textures/ folder 800 MB --+ Liveries/ F-5E3_2024/ folder 2 GB and 30x Sounds.edce files under Mods/ or CoreMods/ folders total 1.3 GB

Thanks new update patch. Not written in today's changelog though, updated DCS folder timestamp shows F-5E 2024 module is retouch around its textures. I can see only file/folder timestamps. I cannot figure out what changes are done internally. Is it planned one ?

Takeoff from Parking and Ramp Start unavailable at Allstedt
western_JPN replied to Pizzicato's topic in Bugs and Problems
In my testing Allstedt in DCS 2.9.15 .9509 (not changed from .9408) , besides historical operations, slot 72 - 74 and 107 - 149 are unavailable for almost all fixed-wing aircrafts like MiG-21bis / MiG-15bis / L-39C / Yak-52 / Christen Eagle II. Other 01 - 71 / 75 - 106 are spawn-able by those small wingspan aircrafts. The slots 72 - 74 and 107 - 149 are available for Helicopters Ka-50 III / UH-1H and SA342. Mi-8 and Mi-24 are limited slots only 107 - 128. About Su-25 / T and MiG-29 , a bit limited but total 46x slots are available. Su-27 or larger ones are unavailable. -
In my testing Peenemunde in DCS 2.9.15 .9509 (not changed from .9408) , besides historical operations, slots 77-87 are very narrow size limitation for fixed-wing aircrafts. Even Yak-52 cannot be placed in those slots as start from Ramp. Christen Eagle II can start from slots 86-87 but not 77-85. Ka-50 III / UH-1H / SA342 helicopters can spawn in slots 77-87. Even rotary-wing ones, Mi-8 and Mi-24P are too big and only slots 77 / 84 / 85 / 89 / 92 are available in whole of Peenemunde. MiG-21bis / MiG-15bis / L-39C can spawn as same as Christen Eagle II (total 134 slots ? available). MiG-29 or Su-25/T are a bit limited but over 110 slots available. Su-27 can spawn only in two slots 89 and 92. Yak-40 or An-26B / An-30M are only 89. IL-76MD or similar / larger size aircrafts are unavailable.

In my testing Altes Lager in DCS 2.9.15 .9509 (not changed from .9408) , besides historical operations, slot 47 and 86 are only for Helicopters, Mi-8 and Mi-24 can start there, no available for any fixed-wing a/c. Other Eighty-Eight slots are available for small wingspan jets MiG-21bis / MiG-15bis / L-39C / MB-339A / C-101CC, or small props like Yak-52 / Christen Eagle II / P-51D. About Su-25 / T and MiG-29 --- 01 - 14 / 21 are not available but other slots OK. Yak-40 or larger transports / bombers cannot start any Ramp.

I think that is a hardware trouble instead of DCS software one. Overheated (or insufficient cooling capacity) CPU / GPU / Memory / PSU / Storage etc. Temperature comes up in the Northern Hemisphere.

Berlin Tegel airport ramp start aircraft size a bit too small than historical. In my testing DCS 2.9.15 .9408 , P-8A Poseidon mod (38 meters wide X 40 meters long) can spawn on Tegel's slot 01 - 25 , but stock KC-135 (39 meters wide X 42 meters long) cannot anywhere. From historical photos, in early 1980s Pan-Am operated Boeing 727-200 (33 meters wide X 47 meters long) , and Airbus A310 (44 meters wide X 47 meters long) in late 1980s for Terminal A's Jet bridges or other bus ramps. Slot 01 - 25 needs 44 meters wide X 47 meters long availability. (Slot 04, 05, 08, 19, 20, 21 look like 48 meters wide X 55 meters long capacity, but not sure.) Also about north military apron, slot 39, 41, 43, 46 maybe available for E-3 Sentry (45 meters wide X 47 meters long). 39, 41, 43 need center position adjustment moving a bit south-west like 46's Relative Position to orange centerlines to keep taxiway space. P.S. Historical Boeing 747 or L-1011 ramps maybe occupied by B747-like static object.

ah ... how about the YEAR of the map module ? This is Cold War Germany map --- focusing 1980s. A-10's moving to Spangdahlem was 1993 or 1994 .... after German reunification, wasn't it ? I'm not sure when western area hangers were built in bigger size .... already in 1980s ?

I see also a mesh hole bug in Fulda river from the screenshot.
