c0pes DCS was created for anyone and everyone, there are no requirements, no special times to be on, you don't have to own certain aircraft to be a part of it. We all know life happens and not everyone can be on their computer at any given time, and we're okay with that. Our community has over 500 members currently from all over the world. We have a pool of instructor pilots who are very well versed in certain aircraft, and are very patient as well. Looking for a wingman because you're tired of flying solo? Come check us out, you wont be disappointed. Our discord community is ever growing, and we even have our own server, come say Hi! https://discord.gg/kUyA3yJ

Echelon was started by passionate aviation and flight sim enthusiasts. Since 1993, with the release of the MiG-29 and F/A-18 expansions to Falcon 3.0, we wanted to experience a “digital battlefield” of interconnected, high-quality simulations of various aircraft, helicopters, and vehicles. DCS is on the cusp of making that dream reality. The simulation is one requirement, but we also need a community of passionate, like-minded flight sim enthusiasts to fly with. Thus, Echelon Aero is born.

We are the DCS Silver Eagles and we are a casual DCS squadron. We sometimes have organized events, but are still in the early stages of development, and don't have very many members.

  • Closed Squadron  ·  14 members

We're a casual squadron that focuses on fun and mutual training. We want to teach and share our knowledge with each other, especially newer pilots, so that we're all at a reasonably capable level. Then, we want to use what we've learned to fly reasonably challenging missions together. If you're interested in flying with us, please join our Discord server here: https://discord.gg/jJbdtAWTm6

We are a virtual squadron that uses Eagle Dynamic's Digital Combat Simulator to emulate Groupe de Chasse 1/30 “Alsace”, a former combat unit of the French Air Force. The squadron is in direct lineage with the FAFL "Alsace" fighter group, formed in 1943 by Commandant René Mouchotte. We will honour and represent with dignity the tradition of this legendary squadron. We will be flying on the Spitfire, Mirage 2000C, Mirage F-1CT and Mirage F-1B sticking as closely as possible within the framework of the simulation and the constraints of using a flight combat simulation as well as maintaining a robust library of documents and procedures taken from the French air Force. The majority of our flight operations will consist of training, weekly mission flights, and mid- to long-term campaigns that will take place in the Persian Gulf map, Syria, Normandie, Channel as well as the Caucasus map. Unlike some other virtual squadrons, we consider ourselves more of a military simulation, or "MILSIM," group than a simple combat flight simulation wing or other more casual simulation group. Our flying is heavily dependent upon real world procedures, and specific radio procedures, communications, and discipline is important to what we do. Like any online community our members come from all walks of life and we enjoy having a good time, but when we're in the virtual skies we take what we are doing seriously.

The 13th JSOT is currently recruiting F/A-18 pilots for a new start-up Wing. We are looking for people with experience and unique talents to contribute to this start-up. Our goal is "Tactical Realism" without going full mil-sim. We follow realistic procedures and tactics but recognize this is not your job. Our desire is to be objective focused with the main objective being enjoying this hobby together. We want to weed out immaturity and those who put the minor details ahead of that objective. Everyone has a different level of knowledge and experience. The focus should be on Airmanship and Decision Making based on that individual knowledge and experience. We at the 13th JSOT are experienced in various aviation backgrounds, from military aviation engineers to civilian airline pilots. We have experience creating and running successful Air Combat Simulator groups, and effective training within DCS. We will be operating in a democratic fashion. Contributing to the server upkeep or in other ways will get you a say in the direction of the wing. In the future, we will be recruiting for the A10, F15E, and AH64D. We'd like to eventually include AIC/ATC through Lot ATC. We have our own dedicated servers running a Public Server and Private Server with random weather, and dynamically built missions utilizing SRS for communications. CJTF47 is currently recruiting for pilots to join our ranks. We are a Military Simulation (MILSIM) group. The group consists of a Carrier Air Group, Marine Expeditionary Unit, Air Wing, and NATO (In the future). Pilots will be given the opportunity to choose a Primary and Secondary aircraft to fly. The following aircraft are available: MEU: AV-8B, UH-1H, MI-8, KC-130, *HH-60L, *AH-64D CVW: F/A-18D, F-14 (Pilot/RIO), MI-8, UH-1H *HH-60L Air Wing: A-10C, F-16, * Denotes possible future integration Initial training is “MANDATORY”. All pilots will complete initial training in the T-45 GOSHAWK or C101EB on our Nevada training server. Pilots will be issued a Flight logbook and required to log training flight hours. In addition, the training server will record hours flown. Initial training will cover 11 topics (100 codes). Pilot Candidates are giving 60 days to complete 30 hours of training (10 hrs. instructed, 20 hrs. solo practice). Once these milestones have been achieved, you’ll be eligible for a check ride. The check ride will test your knowledge of the 11 topics. The requirements for the 100 Codes may sound daunting but to break it down in a logical way, if you dedicate 5 hrs. a week (1hr a day Mon-Fri), you can achieve the required time in 6 weeks. This is quite achievable, however to offset any unexpected lack of flying, we allot 8 weeks for completion. After completion of the check ride, helicopter pilots will begin helicopter training in the UH-1H (Used as a Basic trainer). All Carrier based pilots will begin advance training (200 codes) covering 9 topics related to Carrier Operation. The check ride will consist of having the knowledge and being able to demonstrate the procedures for entering and exiting the holding stack, Case I departures, Case I/III recoveries, entering and exiting the Marshall Stack, and basic LSO calls. Once 200 codes or helicopter training is complete, you will then move to your Primary aircraft and began applying all the knowledge you’ve learned thus far. You’ll then be assigned to either the MEU, CAG, or Air Wing depending on your primary aircraft selection. Training is continuance between missions in order to become very familiar with your primary aircraft in order to fly and employ it effectively in battle. In addition, it will be equally important to learn the capabilities of enemy aircraft and ground threats. The finer details of this phase are still being developed. All time zones are welcomed, however most active members operate around US Central and Mountain time. We would like to eventually have a global community with members operating in as many time zones as possible. The ultimate goal of this group is to cultivate esprit de corps, test our skills in both missions and future competitions. Steel sharpens Steel and the members of this group both enjoy and have a strong passion for Combat Aviation. It’s that same passion which brings everyone from all different walks of life to DCS. We want to fly challenging missions with as much realism as possible while having fun doing it. In life, we tend to appreciate things more when it’s built upon hard work and dedication. Training may require some time, dedication, and maybe even a little bit of humble pie, but if you’re up for the challenge, please follow the link below. If time does not permit at this time come fly on our public server. https://headquarters47.com/ and click apply to join
