We are the 457th Virtual Fightin' Spads, a Mil-Sim Squadron flying the F-16C in DCS. We are committed to providing our members with a professional and fun environment to fly in. All new members must pass Pilot Initial Qualification and Mission Qualification before being Mission Ready Wingmen. While this does serve as a right of passage into our ranks, it also ensures that we are capable of flying missions in online servers. Once our pilots obtain Mission Ready status, there are several other training courses we offer to keep building skill and gaining responsibility. Our operations are based on real world USAF Squadron Operations with training, stan-eval, tactics, scheduling, and snack-o (still trying to figure out how to do this one :wink: ). We are based across the US, although we will accept EU members, we may just not be able to fly together as much. Unlike other Virtual Squadrons in DCS, we do not have a time requirement for members to stay active. Once you join you may fly as much or as little as you like. We are not affiliated with the real world 457th FS.

c0pes DCS was created for anyone and everyone, there are no requirements, no special times to be on, you don't have to own certain aircraft to be a part of it. We all know life happens and not everyone can be on their computer at any given time, and we're okay with that. Our community has over 500 members currently from all over the world. We are a virtual squadron that uses Eagle Dynamic's Digital Combat Simulator to emulate Groupe de Chasse 1/30 “Alsace”, a former combat unit of the French Air Force. The squadron is in direct lineage with the FAFL "Alsace" fighter group, formed in 1943 by Commandant René Mouchotte. We will honour and represent with dignity the tradition of this legendary squadron. We will be flying on the Spitfire, Mirage 2000C, Mirage F-1CT and Mirage F-1B sticking as closely as possible within the framework of the simulation and the constraints of using a flight combat simulation as well as maintaining a robust library of documents and procedures taken from the French air Force. The majority of our flight operations will consist of training, weekly mission flights, and mid- to long-term campaigns that will take place in the Persian Gulf map, Syria, Normandie, Channel as well as the Caucasus map. Unlike some other virtual squadrons, we consider ourselves more of a military simulation, or "MILSIM," group than a simple combat flight simulation wing or other more casual simulation group. Our flying is heavily dependent upon real world procedures, and specific radio procedures, communications, and discipline is important to what we do. Like any online community our members come from all walks of life and we enjoy having a good time, but when we're in the virtual skies we take what we are doing seriously.

Joint Tiger Squad (JTS), a DCS squadron dedicated to collaborative missions and MILSIM. Meeting Wednesdays at 1830Z.

The 13th JSOT is currently recruiting F/A-18 pilots for a new start-up Wing. We are looking for people with experience and unique talents to contribute to this start-up. Our goal is "Tactical Realism" without going full mil-sim. We follow realistic procedures and tactics but recognize this is not your job. Our desire is to be objective focused with the main objective being enjoying this hobby together. We want to weed out immaturity and those who put the minor details ahead of that objective. Everyone has a different level of knowledge and experience. The focus should be on Airmanship and Decision Making based on that individual knowledge and experience. We at the 13th JSOT are experienced in various aviation backgrounds, from military aviation engineers to civilian airline pilots. We have experience creating and running successful Air Combat Simulator groups, and effective training within DCS. We will be operating in a democratic fashion. Contributing to the server upkeep or in other ways will get you a say in the direction of the wing. In the future, we will be recruiting for the A10, F15E, and AH64D. We'd like to eventually include AIC/ATC through Lot ATC. We have our own dedicated servers running a Public Server and Private Server with random weather, and dynamically built missions utilizing SRS for communications. Since 1954, the Spanish Navy Aircraft Flotilla (FLOAN) has been in charge of providing air support and protection to The Fleet and providing air support to the Marine Corps. It is made up of eleven squadrons in total, seven of them active and four deactivated, each equipped with a specific aircraft model. Coinciding with the celebration of the centenary of the creation of the Spanish Naval Aeronautics on 09/15/1917, since 2017, our Flotilla de Aeronaves Virtual simulates the flight operations of the FLOAN, the Air Weapon of the Spanish Navy. www.flotilladeaeronavesvirtual.com
