CJTF47 is currently recruiting for pilots to join our ranks. We are a Military Simulation (MILSIM) group. The group consists of a Carrier Air Group, Marine Expeditionary Unit, Air Wing, and NATO (In the future). Pilots will be given the opportunity to choose a Primary and Secondary aircraft to fly. The following aircraft are available: MEU: AV-8B, UH-1H, MI-8, KC-130, *HH-60L, *AH-64D CVW: F/A-18D, F-14 (Pilot/RIO), MI-8, UH-1H *HH-60L Air Wing: A-10C, F-16, * Denotes possible future integration Initial training is “MANDATORY”. All pilots will complete initial training in the T-45 GOSHAWK or C101EB on our Nevada training server. Pilots will be issued a Flight logbook and required to log training flight hours. In addition, the training server will record hours flown. Initial training will cover 11 topics (100 codes). Pilot Candidates are giving 60 days to complete 30 hours of training (10 hrs. instructed, 20 hrs. solo practice). Once these milestones have been achieved, you’ll be eligible for a check ride. The check ride will test your knowledge of the 11 topics. The requirements for the 100 Codes may sound daunting but to break it down in a logical way, if you dedicate 5 hrs. a week (1hr a day Mon-Fri), you can achieve the required time in 6 weeks. This is quite achievable, however to offset any unexpected lack of flying, we allot 8 weeks for completion. After completion of the check ride, helicopter pilots will begin helicopter training in the UH-1H (Used as a Basic trainer). All Carrier based pilots will begin advance training (200 codes) covering 9 topics related to Carrier Operation. The check ride will consist of having the knowledge and being able to demonstrate the procedures for entering and exiting the holding stack, Case I departures, Case I/III recoveries, entering and exiting the Marshall Stack, and basic LSO calls. Once 200 codes or helicopter training is complete, you will then move to your Primary aircraft and began applying all the knowledge you’ve learned thus far. You’ll then be assigned to either the MEU, CAG, or Air Wing depending on your primary aircraft selection. Training is continuance between missions in order to become very familiar with your primary aircraft in order to fly and employ it effectively in battle. In addition, it will be equally important to learn the capabilities of enemy aircraft and ground threats. The finer details of this phase are still being developed. All time zones are welcomed, however most active members operate around US Central and Mountain time. We would like to eventually have a global community with members operating in as many time zones as possible. The ultimate goal of this group is to cultivate esprit de corps, test our skills in both missions and future competitions. Steel sharpens Steel and the members of this group both enjoy and have a strong passion for Combat Aviation. It’s that same passion which brings everyone from all different walks of life to DCS. We want to fly challenging missions with as much realism as possible while having fun doing it. In life, we tend to appreciate things more when it’s built upon hard work and dedication. Training may require some time, dedication, and maybe even a little bit of humble pie, but if you’re up for the challenge, please follow the link below. If time does not permit at this time come fly on our public server. https://headquarters47.com/ and click apply to join

Currently recruiting Hornet and Tomcat pilots willing to join and help a new squadron grow. More information regarding squadron details can be found below. WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO We are a semi-historical squadron based on the United States Navy's Test and Evaluation Squadrons (VX). Although there have been many Naval test and Evaluation Squadrons, we have chosen to "simulate" only two of these, including VX-9 and VX-4. These two squadrons allow us to operate F-14A Tomcats and F/A-18C Hornets. We also fly A-4 Skyhawks to simulate Aggressors for training operations. Future operations will include weekly training operations and bi-weekly missions. Anyone active in the server is allowed to join these weekly training sorties, which consist of visual and flying lessons on new team dynamics and tactics and how to implement them within DCS World. Once you've passed your initial FAM, you will be allowed to join our bi-weekly missions and gain access to the rest of the server. Although each mission is not considered a training sortie, they will be set up to create a strategic learning experience. Each mission will have multiple set objectives, but how said objectives are completed is up to each flight element. REQUIREMENTS -Be at least 16 years of age -Own the Persian Gulf map -English speaking -Able to operate either the Hornet or Tomcat in most scenarios TIMEZONE We mainly use MST as a basis for scheduling operations. Due to life outside of DCS World, operations are usually hosted in the evening. STATUS This squadron is work in progress. Recommendations and constructive criticism is highly welcome. The virtual 101st Combat Aviation Brigade is a semi-milsim group, meaning that, while the ability to fly and effectively communicate is necessary, we will not be recreating the tactics and SOP of army aviation and the 101st CAB to a high level of accuracy. If you want 100% realism, this is not your place. While many of us do have hopes of operating the aircraft we fly in sims, nearly all of us have little to no experience operating such aircraft beyond the scope of DCS and ArmA3.

WHO ARE WE Welcome to Combined Joint Task Force. We are a DCS virtual deployment enviroment. CJTF is made up of DCS squadrons representing US Navy, US Air Force, US Army and NATO Force. CJTF is a combat cycle based group with a rotating deployment cycle every 6-10 weeks. CJTF differs from other groups in that we invite existing DCS squadrons/airwings who qualify and meet certain criteria to join in our deployment phase and help Combined Joint Task Force accomplish its deployment goals. Our deployment mission is an ongoing 6-10 week custom curated mission, using the latest the DCS scripting community has to offer. Mission building is one of the main reasons this group got started, and there is as much passion for mission building as there is for flying in CJTF. It's a great opportunity for other squadrons from other groups to put their training to the test, and work in a true joint task force environment. https://discord.gg/t4qvscJd

The 62nd Fighting Falcons is a club created by air combat simulation enthusiasts. Based in Brisbane, the club has been operating since 1994, and provides a way for air combat enthusiasts to achieve the ultimate simulation experience - flying realistic flight simulation as a member of a squadron. The club holds regular LAN and online meetings and visitors are always welcome. When do we fly? The 62nd Fighting Falcons fly in both online and in person formats. Online Missions are flown each Wednesday night at 7:30pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) Monthly "meets" are held once a month on a Sunday, dates are voted via a poll. The 32nd Tactical Fighter Squadron "Wizard", was formed by the Osean Air Defense Force as part of OADF 8th Air Division on June 23, 1990. It was known as the "All Stars of the Round Table" for participating in all major operations of the Allies. After June 6th, 1995, the Wizard Squadron deserted and became part of the radical terrorist group known as "A World With No Boundaries", and their leader-Joshua "Lucan" Bristow-is believed to be the founder alongside the alleged head director Anton Kupchenko and Anthony Palmer. During the allied "Operation Thunderbolt", the squadron reappeared in the famous air space B7R, to intercept Ustian 66th Squadron from approaching the Avalon Dam. This appears to be the final battle for the squadron, as the whole team, despite the excellent skill, equipment, and organization, was defeated by the "Demon Lord of the Round Table". "We will carry out the new creation of destruction through the power of righteousness. Territories, peoples, authorities, all will be liberated. This is the new state, "A World With No Boundaries", we'll create. Neither nations nor nationalities have meaning. We will erase these unnecessary borders. The World With No Boundaries will pen a new story. The world will change." -Joshua "Lucan" Bristow, squadron leader. December 31st, 1995.
