There is something that ED can consider. What about adding the ability to eject from an airplane that is underwater? Let's say a pilot's jet is hit by a warship's AAA fire . In turn, the pilot attempts to fly back to land while flying 100 feet above the ocean's surface. Due to catastrophic engine failure, the pilot forced to ditch at sea. After landing in the water, the jet sinks quickly. The pilot pulls the ejection seat handle and ejects from the disabled jet underwater. To bring expectations with alignment for DCS, we can shoot down satellites. I am ok with that :).

Another addition I would like to see is a hypersonic anti-ship missile.

When I looked for online information for F-16s that carry the Harpoon, there were only a few countries that requested this modification. The F-16 could only carry two Harpoons at oine time. For the Syria map and the Persian Gulf map, using F-16s to carry Harpoons to target hostile shipping would make sense.

Kudos to the people that created the F-4 teaser at the end of the DCS World 2022 and beyond. Genius! When I watched the end of the video that shows video footage that might have been recorded on 1980's VHS tape, there is a brief image of a radar crosshair that was likely used in the 1970's by various American fighter jets in the Viet Nam conflict. Thanks to the Military Channel programs about American fighter jets, I recognized the radar crosshair that briefly appears in the DCS World 2022 and Beyond video. Since numerous people have requested the F-4, ED responded to our requests, but did not tell us anything until this teaser video in the DCS World 2022 and Beyond. While it is not clear which version of the F-4 will appear, I am certain many will get the plane and fly it.

I agree with using the F-15 to fire an ASM-135 to shoot down the bad guy's satellite from orbit. The fond memories of playing the classic game Missile Command.

I know the folks at ED read the posts in the forums. Since this is the Wishlist part of the forum, I write down my ideas and suggestions. Along with the folks at ED, there are skillful programmers that can create mods quickly and efficiently. The knowledgeable coder is likely to create something based on a suggestion I make. On the other hand, one of the third party vendors used by ED to create the planes, choppers, etc., might add the ideas that I or others have revealed in assorted forum posts.

No, I am joking. I am referring to shooting meteors that come from outer space and pass through the earth's atmosphere. Additionally, when the F-15 is finally available, it could be used to shoot down unwanted satellites orbiting the earth.

Here are some options we should add to DCS, which is likely for the Mission Editor. The new option is add meteors and satellites. Specifically, jet planes could shoot down hostile spy satellites or about about to use satellite's laser beam to neutralize assets. As for the meteors, they are can be intercepted before they hit critical targets.

Can we have the Tu-95, Tu-160, M-4, Tu-16, and the KA-50 (2-pilot version)?

When I read online information about the Mig-23, the plane seemed to be a burdensome beast. It seemed to be unreliable and difficult to fly. Too bad it has limited bombing capability, but ok to the information. In various conflicts, the Mig-23 fell victim to American jets on many occasions. I can only imagine the F-14 drivers itching to shoot down the Mig-23's.

I am happy to see a screenshot showing the work-in-progress (WIP) for the Mig-23. Can the plane be modified to carry cruise missiles or anti-shipping missiles?

How about making a map that consists of Saudi Arabia and Iran? The Saudi base can be used for friendly forces. With Iran, we would have ample opportunity to create missions and campaign with our existing inventory of jets and choppers. Another map is we can create a map of North Africa. This map would be great for WW2 battles; at the same time, it can be applied for modern-day situations.

I like the idea of directed energy weapons. To make things more lively, ED can create super-duper ultra-long-range cannon based in South Florida that would allow us to shell Cuba.

Create a map that encompasses Cuba, Bermuda, Puerto Rico, and south Florida. This map would be great for Cold War-type scenario that occurred during the height of the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Keep posting your suggestions in the DCS Wishlist section. ED assures us that they that read the forum posts. I, too, have made many, many suggestions for improvements and desired new content.

Can ED give us the option to place barbed wire entanglements to fortify positions?

For now, the closest match is either the F-86 or the Mig-15.

For a future mod, can we have a rail garrison for modern times? Think of it as a modern-day armored train. The contemporary trains could be used to carry weapons such as cruise missiles, train-based laser systems, or part of a command-and-control system. Additionally, we could add the option of having flatcars that are specially marked so that helicopters can land or take off from them. Even more so, how about adding the capability to launch and control drones from the rail garrison? To make game play more lively, the rail garrison can have railcars with canons and machine guns that can be used to either attack or defend critical targets or to defend the train from hostile forces.
