  1. In the mission editor, I know we can control the weather. How about modeling hurricanes, tropical storms, tropical depressions, cyclones, or typhoons? When the South Atlantic Map is available, we could a hypothetical hurricane Katrina in a part of the world that is unlikely to experience hurricanes. For entertainment purposes, we can create tropical depressions, tropical storms, or hurricanes in the Persian Gulf map, Marianas Islands map, or the Syrian Map. How about having a live, constant real-world weather feed go directly into DCS?
  2. Too bad the original manufacturer's manuals are not available for the F-105. Could the F-105 be created based on books or manuals found online for sale? There might not be many veterans left alive that flew the F-105.
  3. For the Syria and Persian Gulf map, can the mission editor allow users to control the flow and direction of ocean currents? How about being able to change the depths of channels like the Strait of Hormuz? What about allowing environmental disasters such as oil spills or burning oil wells?
  4. Still accepting new pilots? I clicked on the discord link and introduced myself. What do I need to do to join?
  5. Are you still accepting new pilots?
  6. Hello. I clicked on the Discord link and it is invalid. I want to join. Mike
  7. Hello, I just posted a response in Discord. Mike
  8. We know ED has a SDK. Perhaps you can create ships, but have to use ED's software.
  9. If we could use the F-111 in the Persian Gulf Map, then we could lots of fun. The F-15, F-16, and the F-14 could serve as escort on bombing missions.
  10. Ok. Thanks for the response. When I see the Super Carrier Mod, I anticipate more ships would be forthcoming. When ED publicize new things, it is usually planes or choppers.
  11. Can ED add camels for the Persian Gulf map and Syria Map? This way, the virtual cows will have company.
  12. Can ED add united states coast guard ships and cutters?
  13. Can we have fuel air explosives in DCS? We can use them when attacking ground troops.
  14. Can we have fuel air explosives in DCS?
  15. Please create a module for the Japanese US-2 amphibious plane.
  16. Please create a module for the F-105 Thunderchief.
  17. Can ED add ground launch cruise missles?
  18. When I fly my choppers in rainy weather, I turn on the wipers. The wipers do work but do not have the effect of removing the raindrops. Please update the wipers to remove the rain like windshield wipers do in the real-world aviation. Thank you
  19. Will the Mig-25 be available in the near future?
  20. I have a question about the upcoming South Atlantic Map.  Will the map allow us to fly all jets, all choppers, and WW2?

  21. Since ED has been silent on this topic, the ASW requests might be released at an undetermined time in the future. I believe they will focus more on the jets, choppers, and WW2 aircraft.
  22. During a wartime scenario, the civil engineering squadron would do rapid runway repair (RRR). It is a wartime skill for the civil engineering squadron for the USAF. Very related to realistic USAF ground ops.
  23. The F-111 proved itself during the 1990's during Operation Desert Storm in the Persian Gulf.
  24. No, I am not writing the comment in a humorous way. When I read the posts listing various features, mods, add-ons, and other things, I look for items that people have not mentioned. For example, I mentioned having snow removal equipment on the flight line. In the military aviation on military bases and civilian aviation at airports worldwide, they are likely to do snow removal when it snows. For the military virtual pilots, planning snow removal operations before or after a mission/campaign adds realism. Another feature not discussed is rapid runway repair (RRR). RRR is used to restore a military airfield back to operation after an attack within 4 hours or so. In the missions, we saw the awesome results when we attack the bad guy's airfield; on the other hand, minimal to no exposure when one's own airfield is attacked. If the airfield is attacked and pilots have to land, then they do so between the craters. Nobody else has thought of this for DCS World.
  25. Sorry for any confusion. I will stick to what I do somewhat better, which is flying my jets and choppers.
