How about making a map that consists of Saudi Arabia and Iran? The Saudi base can be used for friendly forces. With Iran, we would have ample opportunity to create missions and campaign with our existing inventory of jets and choppers. Another map is we can create a map of North Africa. This map would be great for WW2 battles; at the same time, it can be applied for modern-day situations.

I like the idea of directed energy weapons. To make things more lively, ED can create super-duper ultra-long-range cannon based in South Florida that would allow us to shell Cuba.

Create a map that encompasses Cuba, Bermuda, Puerto Rico, and south Florida. This map would be great for Cold War-type scenario that occurred during the height of the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Keep posting your suggestions in the DCS Wishlist section. ED assures us that they that read the forum posts. I, too, have made many, many suggestions for improvements and desired new content.

Can ED give us the option to place barbed wire entanglements to fortify positions?

For now, the closest match is either the F-86 or the Mig-15.

For a future mod, can we have a rail garrison for modern times? Think of it as a modern-day armored train. The contemporary trains could be used to carry weapons such as cruise missiles, train-based laser systems, or part of a command-and-control system. Additionally, we could add the option of having flatcars that are specially marked so that helicopters can land or take off from them. Even more so, how about adding the capability to launch and control drones from the rail garrison? To make game play more lively, the rail garrison can have railcars with canons and machine guns that can be used to either attack or defend critical targets or to defend the train from hostile forces. In the mission editor, I know we can control the weather. How about modeling hurricanes, tropical storms, tropical depressions, cyclones, or typhoons? When the South Atlantic Map is available, we could a hypothetical hurricane Katrina in a part of the world that is unlikely to experience hurricanes. For entertainment purposes, we can create tropical depressions, tropical storms, or hurricanes in the Persian Gulf map, Marianas Islands map, or the Syrian Map. How about having a live, constant real-world weather feed go directly into DCS?

Too bad the original manufacturer's manuals are not available for the F-105. Could the F-105 be created based on books or manuals found online for sale? There might not be many veterans left alive that flew the F-105.

For the Syria and Persian Gulf map, can the mission editor allow users to control the flow and direction of ocean currents? How about being able to change the depths of channels like the Strait of Hormuz? What about allowing environmental disasters such as oil spills or burning oil wells?

We know ED has a SDK. Perhaps you can create ships, but have to use ED's software.

If we could use the F-111 in the Persian Gulf Map, then we could lots of fun. The F-15, F-16, and the F-14 could serve as escort on bombing missions.

Ok. Thanks for the response. When I see the Super Carrier Mod, I anticipate more ships would be forthcoming. When ED publicize new things, it is usually planes or choppers.

Can ED add camels for the Persian Gulf map and Syria Map? This way, the virtual cows will have company.

Can ED add united states coast guard ships and cutters?

Can we have fuel air explosives in DCS? We can use them when attacking ground troops.
