I just fried my 6800GT and the retailer has to contact their head office to see if they will replace it straight away or send it back to manufacturer for repairs/replacement as it happened after their 30 day return policy and their head office managers have been in a meeting all day. Should know tomorrow morning. I am trying to configure my old Abit 5900 OTES for 1.1 but lock-on keeps CTD. I keep getting a "dxrenderer.dll" problem. Anyone any ideas to this problem. :confused:

I agree. The low flying skill and bravery of the Argentinean pilots was simply amazing. Some pilots even flew so low that their Mk82's didn't have time to arm. :icon_conf RAF and RN pilots have the utmost respect for their Argentinean comrades.

Don't get me wrong I'm in the same position as you in regards of taste of jet so don't worry I know how you feel. I'm more of a half full kind of guy. :icon_wink As for the SU-25T inclusion. I think ED wanted to include a jet with the same if not better systems that the A-10. Afterall we know how superior the Sues are in a2a combat. :wink: :p

It has been reported that a new AFM for each aircraft takes 6 months to "build". After the whole 1.1 release date drama. How do you think people would react being told to wait 6 more months for a new AFM for the SU-27? "I don't fly the SU-25/27 I fly "X plane". Where is the AFM for "X Plane" would be the cry. (replace Xplane with other types) Its far better that they give us something to play with until the next gen sim where ED has full legal and financial control over.

It was said that ED was allowed 1 official add-on. As people pointed out 1.1 was labelled "Unofficial Add-On"

The reviews that I have seen regarding the 6600GT have been very good, nice little card. Lots of potential there. My advice is to go for the one that your budget will let you. If you can afford the 6800GT then by all means get it. If not then the 6600GT is a great card to purchase. I myself was going for the 6800 Ultra but they had none in the store and while ordering it the GT caught my eye. I want my products yesterday so that is why I have this. And considering the speed that I can O/C it to I am very happy.

The card I have is the internal PCI version. After 7 years of the same desktop speakers on built in sound, I love these things. :D

I'm ok here with 5.1 Philips PSC 605 soundcard with philips A5.600 speakers

Hi all a bit OT for this board but I am a bit stumped here. Until yesterday my rig was a P4 3.06 533fsb on an epox ep-4pgai mobo with artic Cooling freezer 4 cooler. temp was sitting at 35c mobo 36c cpu at idle / 45c load 25c room temp. I just got a P4 3.2E 800fsb and temp for mobo is still 35c but cpu now sits at 44c idle 50c load at 25c room temp (39c idle when room is colder but I'm not going to freeze my butt off for noone :D ) My question: would this temp increase be normal? Nothing else has changed on my system so I asume it is. Thanks in advance.

Well I just updated 2 days ago from a FX5900 OTES to the 6800 GT and man it is a big difference. Rig before change was P4 3.06 HT (533fsb) epox ep-4pgai 1 gig ram FX5900 OTES This rig scored 1000 on 3dmark05 but after putting the GT in it pushed me up to a score of 5004. :icon_mrgr I am waiting on another gig of ddr400 ram that should be here tomorrow and a 3.2 800 fsb should be here by the weekend. But on a bad note my broadband has packed in and until the 26th, when BT have decided to get off their behind and fix it I am reduced to internet cafes. :mad: Anyways enough of my ramblings, enjoy the difference. :)

I have noticed that they don't show in the payload editor but they show in mission for me.

I know that. Being around since flanker 1.5 I'm not that green. :icon_lol: My question was not how to rotate the camera but how to change the centre of rotation. I.E. instead of F2 rotating around the centre of the aircraft setting it to rotate around different points like the LLTV pod, pylons and wing. etc. Although I understand my posts could be worded better and have more clarity but going 55 hours now without sleep cut me some slack. :rolleyes: :wink: :icon_lol:

On the training mission on the Su-25T the F2 camera angle is changed and instead of being centred on the Sue it is centred on the LLTV pod. I have also seen a few vids where the camera is centred slightly of the nose. How do I do that? :confused: I know its something to do with the LUA files but pffft. I don't know. Please help an ignorant soul. :rolleyes:
