  1. This sounds great, but what is up with the 16 page thread? I think there should be just announcements here, leave talky talky for TS maybe? Just my 2 cents.
  2. Well at least he's not Cptfrowny... Just Kidding, congrats
  3. +1 my galaxy s3 works fine as it is but I think it would be even better if tapatalk support was added.
  4. I can just imagine all the world of tanks people moving to this when the tanks come out, srart crying when they get pounded by aircraft, and then go back to world of tanks.
  5. I hope you get your system issues sorted out, DCS is pretty fun to play. If you can't do that, you can still do FC3.
  6. Knowing craigslist I thought I'd be getting a real A-10...
  7. Do they move though? Sure, sure it reflects radar, sure it emits heat, great and fine. The solution is not all that difficult actually. JSTARS and Global Hawk operators look for the masses of ground units that are Moving as opposed to the ones that are stationary. That and make efficient use of HUMINTand ground reconaissance. Also, UAV operators would probably confirm the target in different electromagnetic bands, making sure that engine smoke is coming out of the right places, the heat is in the right places, and that none of it is too unrealistic (eg. the target stays hot while stationary for way past what its fuel is supposed to last )
  8. EDIT: Sorry, should look at the full thing first, boy do I feel silly... Anyways, he seems to primarily target the F-22's overspecialization with his facts, not the F-35. I honestly think that the F-35 is a good successor stealth aircraft to the F-22. I do agree with him on the overspecialization of the F-22.
  9. To all of you who are sad because you "Missed out" on the storm, drive up (or down) to New Jersey and NYC and watch your sadness turn into relief. Hope for a fast recovery for those places.
  10. Although most of you would be glad to see me gone ;) I am fine. Didn't lose power, although I was in Northern VA, had some high winds, school systems were out of business for two days (typical over reaction).
  11. Cool, I'm in CAP, we don't get those offers very much. Still a great experience though as well.
  12. Ah, now I understand, It's not supposed to act like that when slewing, that's cool.
  13. I think one of the third party dudes either wanted to have some fun and put a rumor out or slipped, but it wasn't a F-15C.

    Eye Candy

You perhaps want to edit that there post of yours, timghetta? I trust that you have not revelaed the unmentioned DCS Fighter, have you?
  15. I would be excited if they made an arleigh burke sim.
  16. They had quite a dry spell a bit over there, anyways, I am glad that they're putting in the lead system, that's a part of the FCS that I can't live without in a sim, just my opinion.
  17. Yep :(. eflightmanuals and military flight manuals ( I believe ), are pretty good sources for the -34's of many other aircraft including the F-16C and the early early F-15E. That is, the -34-1-1's, not the -34-1-1-1's "triple sticks" which are classified.
  18. You'll have to get the -34's for the a-10a by paying. The -1's and -34's for the A-10C are "not for public distribution."
  19. Probably that or the 16, but nobody tells us anything so...
  20. Yeah, speaking of that, I know sim companies are beyond confusing with release dates, but we can't even know what the aircraft is? Come on.
  21. I don't even know if DCS Fighter is coming.
  22. No, 3-1's are secret and unavailable to the public. That's what I was trying to say. They DO have everything about employing the A-10. equations for pop up attacks, approved tactics for specific weapons. You cant just go up and shoot stuff in the air force like you do in DCS A-10C.
  23. I would look in AFTTP A-10-3-1, except for the fact that it is secret :(. I like this article a lot as well.
