There's a little side to side play with the left throttle, but only when I read posts like this that mention it do I ever notice it. There's no movement at all when I click any switches or use any buttons/hats on either throttle however. Perhaps you're using too much force? Moving both throttles at once, unlatched, is effortless and natural and I rarely need to adjust one to the other.

I downloaded the beta 3 patch (eventually) in 27 minutes. That's a pretty fast mouse.

Some of the time you'll be in a hanger, wings clearly embedded in the side of the hanger, but you're able to exit said hanger without any trouble. Then you'll taxi onto a clear road and get stuck there! heh

I got it a few days ago. I even was promoted to Captain today!

I locked up in this one too, but don't remember exactly when. It was still during my "getting shaders all complied" post-install phase though, so now that games are starting quicker I'll try it again.

No idea how this works, but it looks scary! :)

I've so far done the Startup, Takeoff and DSMS training and I'm extremely pleased with them! There's a lot of new information and the new flow with better triggers and pauses till the text is finished is really well done! This is a great improvement over the Beta 1 versions by far. The Takeoff and Navigation one had the same error as before. You'll complete the 360 degree turn at the end of the lesson, get the "This is the end of training" message then immediately get the "you deviated too far, setup again" message. One suggestion would be to add in the ATC steps to the startup, taxi (not really covered in any lesson so far) and takeoff lessons. This might be difficulty with the differences of Easy Comms or not however. Gonna check out the Mav one next since it's apparently having problems. - Just tried the Mav lesson and it was much better than before. It didn't crash for me like others though, but did have some inconsistencies like it said 2 tanks when there was four and had me start with the H but then called the D an H later.

One of the devs said it was a necessary change to accommodate wide screen monitors (specifically those crazy people with three monitors and stuff hehe).

Yup, they do. I took shots of that AI thinking he'd land perfectly, but apparently didn't, but the white white red red and all that work based on your guide slope.

Put those back! The pilot needs those to fly his plane! :joystick:

Yeah, don't do that. fcx.exe is compiling your shaders the game needs. Be patient, it'll only really do this as long as it is the first few games. After that it'll all be complied and you'll start up much faster.

Unlocked since you start the left engine first then the right. Just too much work latching them after every start then unlatching them before every start.

Brush the mouse aside, problem solved. Or use the Warthog controller and never have to mouse click the TGP, even less so with the Cougar MFDs.

Because that would match some of the LEDs in my case and the universe is determined to make no lighted computer peripherals I use to ever match. Amber lights on the monitor, blue backlight on the keyboard, green on the throttle, red AND blue case lights... sigh.

Make sure you're running as Administrator and make sure it's the whole file.

By default the "trim" hat switch on the stick controls view. LCtrl+TrimHat controls actual "trim". You also have to have the default profiles loaded in game for any of it to work. :)

Mine has been doing the same as well. I also had a midflight thing where it started to pause/lockup then superzoom on it's own. Every time I tried to reset the zoom instead it zoomed in even more and more. Went on like this for 30 seconds or so of pauses/zooms till I got a "DCS has caused and error" popup window from Windows. But as I was reaching to close the error, it went away and the game client was fine after that. Very odd and annoying and new.
