Sure is, your engines. Shouldn't start your avionics until your engines are running and your generators are active and you've shut down your APU. :)

This is why I haven't installed TARGET yet... I've yet to see someone say "I installed TARGET and the default in game controls work just fine and I was able to make my one or two complex commands easily without conflicting".
Trim Hat works, but by default it's mapped to LCtrl+Trim Hat.
I doubt they'll be updating the beta with whatever this weeks frequency is. If it's 140 in game, that's the value that should be on the charts. Remember, "Not for real navigation". :)
Takeoff Trim Control Button on page 145 of the manual. Or LCtrl-T to reset trim.
Also keep in mind that wind and weapon/fuel loadout will have drastic effects on the plane's stability.

My Coolie hat works just fine to switch SOI by holding it left or right long. Make sure you're holding it all the way left/right and not just a little. Hard to tell sometimes actually. I accidentally found the Coolie Long setting by pushing it differently once! :)
At 6:00 you're setting the FT value and say you're setting it to 250 or a quarter of a second, but isn't that the distance in feet for release interval? At least in the training tutorial it's described as "75 foot spacing".
Ahh, yeah, you'll need TARGET for macros and scripts. No idea why you need scripts since it works like the real thing does, but more power to you I guess. :)
